I agree with all the OP, though my one nitpick is I could still see Chaz Green making a run at the starting LG spot.

But Taco and Frazier and Woods clearly played much better in this game, we are going to have a lot of quality depth on this team and a real battle for the last spots on the roster.
I just don't think Green is better and Cooper has stayed healthy. Although it's possible but with Green already suffering an injury I think it's much more productive to have Green as swing tackle and a guy that can backup the guard spots. Will be huge in allowing us to carry other players

Yeah, I'm not predicting Green as the starter but I do think he could do it. The OL depth will be excellent this year if our backups are Green and Bell as two swing tackles, plus Cleary and Looney.

Yep starting line of

Tyron, Cooper, Frederick, Martin, Collins

Would be the best and having backups

Cleary, Bell, Looney, Green

I agree he caught my eye too. Put some pressure from the outside and has a motor!
Lenny Jones i think? I like what i have seen. Another thing. Our tackles outside of our vets suck. Im real eager to see Paea, Thornton, and Collins in action. The team might need to get that 4th guy. Its still early but im not impressed with the likes of Ash, Carrell, Ivey, and who ever the other camp fodder guys are.

Thanks 88 enjoyed.
I wanted to say this Lewis Neal is intriguing. Can you put a talent like him on PS?
I don't think so. DL is always hard to pass through and with him already playing as a starter tonight he is being show cased against other teams first and second string players. A team like Seattle or NYG would snatch him up quick.

With suspensions looming with Irving and Moore I think we can find a place for him. I think it comes down if Thornton is better or you go with youth with Neal and Ivey

Seems Ivey made plays in the backfield tonight and Carrell and Ash did last week.

Collins, Paea, Thornton,.........Neal, Ivey, Carrell, Ash.

We will keep 4-5 DT.

Let's look at DE since we keep 10-11 DL total

Taco, Crawford, Irving, Moore, D Law, Mayowa, Tapper...........I would be happy with keeping Neal and going 7 ends since Irving, Crawford and Taco can also rotate inside. I didn't add suspensions into my calculations by the way

Edit......forgot Lenny Jones. Perhaps over Tapper or Mayowa?

While many are talking about Rush, Woods and Rico etc. I wanted to bring out under the radar guys that made plays tonight.

I will start with some starters from tonight's game.

David Irving....was everywhere in the few plays he was in, even had a chase down of a very fast back to force a fumble. Is suspended but was good to see him making plays tonight, hopefully he keeps his head on right and we might have at least 1 DE spot filled.

Taco Charlton....looked much better. Biggest thing was he shows he is improving. I noticed he still needs to work his hands better to keep lineman from grabbing him. Sometimes he sets his spin up to early but is deadly when timed correctly. Showed explosive speed and war daddy like move to get the sack (should have been safety)

Lewis Neal....looked very quick tonight. Pair with Collins and the DT position is starting to look decent. Was in the backfield a few times blowing up run plays and forcing the QB to throw earlier.

McFadden seemed to be warming up tonight. Last week he didn't look very good but tonight was dangerous when catching the ball. Ran with power and was decisive with his cuts.

Blake Jarwin.....with Rico taking center stage Jarwin has caught the ball well. I don't think he makes the roster but has something to work with to develop.

Jonathan Cooper....outplayed Bell tonight and I think has taken the LG job unless Green gets healthy and shows he is better (which I doubt) Bell had a ton of mistakes tonight.

Noah Brown....some have already talked about him but I wanted to mention him again. I think he makes this roster, and can get some playing time. Looks very strong and improved a ton from last week.

Kavon Frazier....made a ton of plays tonight. Hits hard and caused a fumble, was around the ball all night when in the game. Seems to work really well with Woods at safety.

Duke Thomas....had good coverage tonight and made a ton of tackles. Is caught up with numbers at corner but if injuries continue he can make it. White is ahead right now but if he don't get healed and into the game he could get passed by.

Joey Ivie....looked better tonight compare to last week. Made a huge play in the backfield tonight and with suspensions he could make the roster but is clearly behind Neal right now.

Anyways feel free to add any others that nobody has mentioned. Just thought to keep all the undercover players in 1 thread to give then credit.
I'm with you on Jarwin. He's been good. He would be 5th on the depth chart right? Then again did Hanna play or has he played? I don't remember seeing him at any time over the 2 games. I would like to see Jarwin get on the Practice squad at least.

Is Lenny Jones a DE, or a LB that can finish a blitz? If the latter love him as a SAM, Wilbur just cant get there quick enough to finish. Any Lenny vrs Lael on tape from 1 on 1's?........andt then can Lenny drop into coverage at all? Does he have position flex?

If the 53rd man on the roster came down to Thornton and Neil, I'd probably go with Neil right now even though Thornton has guaranteed money and really wasn't that impressive last year

Don't remember seeing Hanna play but the next 2 games should tell us more about the depth chart
