I know it's been highlighted in the past, but Sunday's game a few of our undrafted guys had solid games.

Ron Leary - OL was impressive, especially the last drive. Leary has been great.

Church - another solid year. Pick and 50 yard return was huge.

Beasley - 2 catches, 66 yard and 45 yard TD.

Baily - 1FG, 3 XP's....and a tackle to boot.

Romo - superb game

having those guys who are late round and undrafted players who can contribute to your team is so very important. and having them who develope into solid starters for you is a real homerun. dallas has always been good at those late round and undraftede guys

Is Romo the best ever UDFA in NFL history?
I could see an ESPN or NFLN biased top 10 coming along...or maybe not, because they can't have a list where a Dallas Cowboy is truly #1....

Nfl net did one. Romo was like #8 of the top ten.

The full-court press Dallas put on to sign Leary after passing on OL in that draft has been well worth it.

There are a few Hall of Famers and other very accomplished players who were UDFAs, so I don't know if Romo would be No. 1 at this point.

For instance, Kurt Warner would probably be considered the best UDFA QB at this point, having won two Super Bowls and named league MVP twice.

Proves my point....

Was it all time, or active, and who was on the list.
I usually don't watch them that much. Just on as I'm working on something else once in a while.

The NFLN Top 10 list was

10. Wayne Chrebet
9. Tony Romo
8. Rod Smith
7. Antonio Gates
6. Warren Moon
5. Adam Vinatieri
4. Marion Motley
3. John Randle
2. Night Train Lane
1. Kurt Warner

They couldn't have a list where a Cowboy was truly the #1 undrafted FA because Kurt Warner wasn't drafted and didn't play for the Cowboys.

I thought Warner won in 2000 and lost with the Cardinals

Vinatieri is 42 and yet again leads (25 for 25) the NFL in kicking this season. Seems to me that he will be one of the few kickers who will make the HoF.

Almost has a hand full of Super Bowl rings too

He'll have to do more to come out on top of Kurt Warner.

Not saying he is the best, was just posing the ?
I forgot about Warner.
