Hunter Luepke
Overview
Versatile fullback with experience as a tailback, tight end and Wildcat option. Luepke is a jack-of-all-trades who has posted an impressive touchdown-per-touch ratio as both a runner and pass-catcher. He’s expected to test well and has the ability to compete for reps as a core special-teamer. While he has soft hands and has shown some route-running savvy, he will need to prove himself as a lead blocker if he is to excite NFL offensive coordinators.
Strengths
  • Above average athletic ability and explosiveness for position.
  • Versatility could allow for expanded usage.
  • Continues to churn legs through initial contact as runner.
  • Very capable receiving threat out of the backfield.
  • Impressive route savvy to create space.
  • Plays with sticky hands and plus ball-tracking.
  • Special teams experience in all four phases.
Weaknesses
  • Below average creativity and vision as ball-carrier.
  • Runs with heavy, plodding feet between the tackles.
  • Tends to play with a more elevated pad level.
  • Just average run after catch potential as a pro.
  • Will need to elevate aggression and play strength as an NFL blocker.
Ran a 4.56 40 at his pro day.

Tyrus Wheat

Overview
Wheat, a three-year starter for Mississippi State, offers decent versatility and good play strength. He has the physicality to go toe-to-toe at the point of attack, but he is lacking football instincts to anticipate and make more plays. Wheat tends to play from Point A to Point B instead of consistently reading and engaging as the play develops. He might benefit from a clearly defined role in a defense with more structure than the one he played in for the Bulldogs. His ability to drop in space or play with power could help him earn a spot as a backup 3-4 strong-side linebacker with special teams value.
Strengths
  • Big, flexible and athletic with consistent production.
  • Able to drop into space and read the quarterback’s eyes.
  • Gets off the ball with quickness and additional burst at the turn.
  • Some ability to bend and flatten into the pocket.
  • Flashes potential to convert speed to power.
  • Rangy with elevated aggression level in taking on and stuffing blocks.
Weaknesses
  • Disappointing instincts, too often losing track of the football.
  • Gets reached and sealed, giving away the edge.
  • Needs a more developed rush plan.
  • Hand usage will require additional schooling.

Myles Brooks

Overview
A perimeter man corner with good size and instincts, Brooks will need to prove he can continue his on-ball production against better competition. He will need to tighten up his technique, but he has the feet and feel to play press. Also, he does a nice job of competing against the route and fighting for positioning when the ball goes up. He has plus ball skills and innate timing to make plays on the throw but might need to prove his top-end speed in testing. He will have occasional issues with downfield penalties and is a below-average run defender, but he has the talent to work his way onto an NFL roster.
Strengths
  • Possesses an NFL frame ready for press.
  • Patience to pedal and shuffle with tempo of the release.
  • Posted 12 passes defensed, including three interceptions, in 2022.
  • Maintains feel for vertical work and competes for space.
  • Finds positioning to locate the football.
  • Leaps and takes the ball away at its highest point.
  • Impressive hand timing to deflect the football at the catch point.
Weaknesses
  • Plays a little too upright when matching release from press.
  • Ready to take too big of a bite out of play fakes.
  • Coverage can become a little loose at the top of the route.
  • Average top-end speed when forced into recovery.
  • Looks much less comfortable working zone coverages.
  • Loses contain and can be outflanked in run support.

Hope they aren’t thinking of bringing back last year kicker.
I understand that he went off the rails in the playoff game against Tampa, but he actually was very accurate during the season. I'd love to see them bring him back, just was hoping that he'd have some legitimate competition in case his yips are permanent.

Overview
Fant should be viewed as an NFL H-back capable of competing for a roster spot with teams willing to think outside the box. He’s too small to play tight end and isn’t a classic lead-blocking fullback, but he’s intriguing, nonetheless. Fant’s athleticism could enable him to create headaches as a route runner for linebackers, and he’s a tough runner after the catch. His hands are subpar, and his blocking can be hit-or-miss, which are obvious hindrances at this time. Keep an eye on his ability as a short-yardage option, as he flashed natural talent in that area in very limited carries for the Vols.
Strengths
  • Had touchdowns throwing, running and catching in 2022.
  • Flashes the foot agility needed to uncover as a pro.
  • Enough speed to challenge coverage down the seam.
  • Physical runner after the catch to help move chains.
  • Radar and pop to work with as a move blocker.
  • Displays natural talent as a runner in limited carries.
Weaknesses
  • 'Tweener who might not fit a positional definition for many teams.
  • Lacks the prototypical frame of a fullback or H-back.
  • Leads with shoulder as lead blocker and fails to latch and sustain.
  • Struggles to secure throws outside his frame.
  • Must prove he can win contested catches.

NFL.com
Overview
Durden is an older draft prospect (will turn 25 in December) who possesses explosive athleticism and good speed. He has decent ball skills and good toughness, so he has a chance to become a big slot receiver with vertical talent in the NFL. His ability as a gunner and punt returner on special teams gives him a chance to compete for a roster spot.
Strengths
  • Strong pro day tester.
  • Decent feel for beating leverage.
  • Holds on to catches through contact as a big slot receiver.
  • Talented gunner on punt cover team.
  • Averaged 17.7 yards per punt return with one touchdown last season.
Weaknesses
  • Not a very instinctive route-runner overall.
  • Lacks desired catch radius for his size.
  • Can be sloppy getting in and out of double moves.
  • Average run-after-catch talent.
From Chargers News:
From his pro day on March 20th, Durden reportedly recorded a 4.46 in the 40 to go with a 37” vertical and 10’7” in the broad. He also had solid agility numbers with a 4.21 in the short shuttle and a 7.00 in the three-cone drill.
