Jerry Jones likes to hint about players who might make the roster.Reporters like to ask him to name names.​

He usually doesn't.

But when Jones was talking about some of the undrafted free agents who have a chance to make the team, including a receiver or two, someone said, "Radway?"

The Cowboys owner said, "Yes."

That alone is a good sign for any rookie. But Raymond Radway is a rookie who has been playing football only the past two years, as a junior and senior in college.

Seeing how we have several good WR's, its doubtful Radway will make the final cut. I imagine the Cowboys might try to squeeze him onto the Practice Squad, if he clears the waiver wire.

Its less likely when lots of good press is posted about a player and the owner makes a public statement there is a possibility he is wanted on the team.

The big question is would Radway clear waivers and make it on our Practice Squad?

I hope the best for him. I would love to have a tall guy with his speed.

In training camp, I like the way he competes. He is very fast and tall.

The only neg is he needs more strength as the DB's seem to knock the ball away at the last sec when he is catching a ball in traffic.

I think we have to wait and see how the rest of the preseason goes. If he plays well, it's doubtful.

But I see no reason why you'd have to keep Holley or Harris over him all things being equal.

No one will pick him up unless he just kills it in the preseason games. He has very little experience and teams would have to put him on the 53 man roster. Most teams will like the WRs they've had in camp all along and know their offense much better that they will like Radway. I think he easily slips to the practice squad. If that is their intention and they already know, I say hold him back a little in the games. Let him improve day by day in practice where only Dallas coaches can see it.

We have 2 WR. A 3rd WR in a rookie, Harris. That leaves 2, maybe 3 WR spots open. Ogletree is the 4th [or 3r for now] even though I am still not 100% sold on him. So yes, guess you can say we have some good WR's. But not as strong as we did with RW11. But he [Ogletree] is supposedly having a very good camp, and JG has said some good things about him. So I hope he is really improved.

I am not sold on Holley either, other than ST. So if they keep a 6th, he may have that shot. If he pushes Holley, then even a better chance.

I see him as a PS guy right now, unless he really surprises.

That leaves one more spot, and I don't think anybody has it locked up. Harris has a leg up being a draft pick for sure, but who knows.
