Is that Adrian Peterson, and is this thread a trap?

I think he looks just fine with no uniform changes to the Cowboys uniform . . . . . .

I'm with you on having less shades, but would choose the slightly blueish tinged silver we use on the helmets and match the pants to that.

Overall, not blasphemy, which is a bigger compliment than you might realize. :)

Yeah, I just have always kind of liked that aqua silver. I know I'm in the minority, but I think its a way to be a little odd and still traditional. And thanks. "Not blasphemy" was exactly what I was going for. Which is why I chose the aqua silver... It has some "NIKE" punch without ruining the unis.

I don't think the helmet needs any changing - ever. Some updates on lines or something on the uniform might come out well, or added an added star to the uniform or something. But based off of some recent uniform redesigns in the league, any changes are just as likely to look atrocious.

The silver helmet with blue star looks unfinished.

One thing I would like to see.... And it's only happened in 1976 bicentennial year. The red stripe on the helmet.

Red, white and blue helmet ... Americas team.

It looks awesome!

Should be implemented as thanksgiving helmet if we can't have 1960s throwbacks or double star jersey.

so, I was bored a while back and came across someone's re-design of the 'boys unis. I liked some of the changes, but wanted to do a few of my own. I actually like the odd silver/aqua of our pants, but hate all of the mismatched colors.

I went with 1 silver (the aqua silver) 1 blue (somewhere in between royal and navy) and 1 white.

I went back to the old blue jersey that matches the white one.

I made the throwbacks work with the "silver" helmet that way only the star and stripes need to be changed.

I also added a silver stripe to the white pants to tie it to the helmet.

I'm just posting this because if I don't I will feel like I wasted a bunch of time for no reason... hahaha. Let me know what you think:

The ONLY thing I would do is make the colors white, navy blue, and silver. The ONLY pants would be the silver pants that they wear with the navy jerseys. No more of the royal blue on the white shirts and those ugly green-ish pants can go.

Leave perfection alone...nothing needs to be changed.
Even in boredom, why do people have to do this....LOL...

Especially the Star on the helmet...never ever touch that, even in boredom....

I often wonder at the need some guys have to redesign clothes. It just doesn't occur to me. Am I missing something fun?

You didn't spend enough time with your mother................. ;)

I think you did a good job. But I would maintain the white trim around the star on the helmet. Removing it makes the star look pedestrian.

I love the Cowboys uniforms. I wish they wore the blue jerseys more but either way their uniforms are the best in my mind. I know people say that about their favorite team but there are some teams with some horrible uniforms. I'm definitely tired of all the black alternate jerseys. How many teams have that now? I think some teams would like to have 5 or 6 different uniforms like the college teams do which is terrible.

With respect, I think it's pretty awful. The main problem is the blue, imo. Looks almost purplish, and/or royal blue (and too close to Giants blue- as one poster already stated). Cowboys blue should be the dark navy- everywhere and always.

Those that say 'don't mess with perfection' and 'the uni is perfect just how it is', etc., however, are ridiculous.

Can't we agree and at least make this reasonable color change to the uni (making them 'uniform') once and for all?
