I don't know about you guys, but what is your opinion on having your teams logo/mascot on the sleeves of the uniform. One thing I noticed when I was watching all of the Jerry Rice love fests that have been going on, is how much I enjoyed the simple look of the uniforms before the new era of uniforms dawned (aka the Broncos I think started it). I have noticed more teams putting their logo on the sleeves of the jersey like we did with the star on our away uniforms. Carolina has the cat on the sleeve, Jacksonville has the jaguar on their sleeve and so on... I prefer the cleaner look of the stripes around the sleeves. What do you guys think???

I like the uniforms just the way they are, to me it does not matter what other teams do with their uniform but the Cowboys don't need a gimmick we are recognized world wide so why change what is already great.

Doomsday,

Would you like to see the road uniforms go back to the way they looked in the late 70's?

Yes, Dallas has had slight changes in the past but nothing dramatic and personally I like it that way. Perennial losers change their uniform to help generate cash flow we don't need to do those types of things

hell no dude... do you see people still walking around with plaid shirts and bell bottoms and platform shoes? times change for a reason

I like the star on the sleeve, but I think it needs more personality, like the Panther or the new-look Cardinal.

I propose a star with attitude, like this one:

Who's with me?

;)

A gay star? LOL.... I think not

Anyone know what uniform the Cowboys are wearing Sunday? I saw two Chargers home preseason games and they wore the white in one and the dark blue in the other.

I'm pretty much a traditionalist as well. I'd really prefer that we dropped the star from the sleeve but I can live with it as long as they don't do it to the home whites. But that is about all of the concession I am willing to make on the uniforms. One other thing about the stars; I'd like to see them all the same size instead of the "skill positions" players getting bigger stars.

BTW I'm glad that the league has done away with the "throwback Jerseys" for Thanksgiving Day. I never did like that idea.

i love the throwback jerseys on thanksgiving day !!
and we will be wearing ours on monday night against
the skins and on T-day.
of course the bears jerseys last year were kind of hard
on the eyes.

I agree.

I hope Jerry doesn't get caught up into the uniform changing frenzy. Some of these sub-par franchises are falling all over themselves trying to look like the Amsterdam Admirals.

Just leave 'em alone. Keep it clean, simple, classy.

These are the Dallas Cowboys.

Is this just your opinion (or wishful thinking) or do you have some hard information? Sorry but I do Sooo hope you are wrong.

The Cowboys have stated they'll wear the throwbacks for both games.

im trying to find where i read it...im sure it was on their official site.but like dale said...its been announced.

I bet the Chargers come out wearing their white jerseys and blue pants. Which means we will start out in our visiting blue jerseys.

I like the design for for home and away. Just please do not go to those 90s big upside down turned around star on the shoulder. YUK!!!!

I just wish they could coordinate the blues and silvers to match. Is that too much to ask.

The throwback white are sweet to as a change of pace.
