Uniforms... Best to Worst

Your dominate team color is the pigment of bile and your team's symbol looks like it was spray painted with it. Yeah, it ain't easy being green, but hell man, green is just plain nauseating.

Powerful things come in green (the hulk/the Thing) ...besides man, green is better than black and Blue!

Kermit the Frog also comes in green, so don't forget to mention him too.

The Hulk is a tragic hero who fought for years to be cured of his green affliction. Nice example there.

Are you refering to the Fantastic Four's The Thing? You DO know he's o-r-a-n-g-e right? Is that a Freudian slip on your part? Perhaps... you have a secret affinity for the Cincinnati Bengals... maybe?

;)

Redskings have a great uni when wearing home colors (I think they wear dark at home) and I love the helmet logo - strong. They have to have it, otherwise we couldn't have Cowboys vs. Indians...

In your opinion who has the best and worst uniforms in the NFL? You can explain if you wish, but don't feel obligated.

My list.

1. Dallas Cowboys. The star is the icon, the colors are ingrained in my soul.

No doubt

5. Green Bay Packers. Simple and clean.

you realize green and yellow are the primary colors of vomit right?

Also, liked the LA Rams old uni's, hate the new one's. Also liked the Pats red uni's with the helmet they had. The Vikes uni's have been altered a bit to I think.

Minn came out with new unis a couple of years ago. A change for the worst.

I've never really understood what stars have to do with cowboys, aside from the fact we usually have a bunch of them on the team.

Take a look at the flag of Texas and think about the nickname of the state

If I am a Bills fan and player....I want these uniform combos over the garbage that they have right now. Come on Ralph, go back to the glory days. Also, get rid of the red stripe going through the buffalo, that looks dumb. On the White Helmet, just outline the buffalo in red.

I wonder what the bottom helmet would look like if the blue and red sections were switched. could someone who is good at photoshopping do that for me please?

as for pheonix-talon, as a celtic fan i have to agree green is a fantastic colour for a sports team particularly when combined with white

Typical Eagles fan thinking.

Truly one dimensional. ;) :)

The Bucs original uniforms were the worst ever. The old Patriots uniforms were also pretty damn ugly.

What's interesting about the "look" of a uniform is the team's success oftentimes cannot be separated from the appeal of the jersey.

Meaning, jerseys like Dallas', Pittsburgh's, Green Bay's -- among the simplest in the league -- might still seem cool because you accompany the teams' illustrious histories with their "look." While a team like Cleveland, whose uniform is just as simple, seems bland and outdated.

1. 49ers
2. Steelers
3. Patriots
4. Raiders
5. Chiefs
6. Rams
7. Broncos
8. Saints
9. Eagles
10. Lions
11. Cowboys--blue ones are awesome/whites=Colts with the lines lowered
12. Panthers
13. Bucs
14. Bears
15. Falcons
16. Ravens
17. Cardinals
18. Giants
19. Vikings
20. Seahawks
21. Chargers
22. Jaguars
23. Titans
24. Texans
25. Jets
26. Colts
27. Packers
28. Commanders
29. Bills
30. Bengals
31. Dolphins
32. Browns

Sure why not...

1. Oakland Raiders
2. San Francisco
3. Washington Commanders - Homer Alert
4. Dallas Cowboys
5. Philadelphia Eagles
6. New York Giants
7. Arizona Cardinals
8. Houston Texans
9. New York Jets
10. Pittsburgh Steelers
11. Indianapolis Colts
12. San Diego Chargers
13. Chicago Bears
14. Green Bay Packers
15. Minnesota Vikings
16. Cleveland Browns
17. Miami Dolphins
18. New England Patriots
19. Buffalo Bills
20. Baltimore Ravens
21. New Orleans Saints
22. Atlanta Falcons
23. Jacksonville Jaguars
24. Tampa Bay Bucs
25. St. Louis Rams
26. Tennessee Titans
27. Detroit Lions
28. Denver Broncos
29. Kansas City Chiefs
30. Carolina Panthers
31. Seattle Seahawks
32. Cincinnati Bengals

32-CLE: brown shouldn't be used for ANY uni!
31-GB: nostalgic but ugly nonetheless
30-CIN: I don't mind the stripes, but earlier version were better looking
29-CAR: blk/silver/turquoise? yuck...
28-WSH: obvious reasons & I hate their helmets... (their throwbacks are actually kinda cool)
27-BUF: looks like AFL unis. need to play all 16 in their throwbacks!
26-MIA: too damn bright! darken the shade of aqua and NEVER wear orange again!!!
25-MIN: another case of updating the uni just made it worse
24-NE: what the hell is up w/ their logo?! bring back Pat!
23-TEN: pajamas don't look too terrifying on the football field! another ugly logo
22-SF: no particular reason...just don't like 'em
21-STL: All blue doesn't look bad. Don't like them w/ white or gold pants (looks a l'il metrosexual)
20-SEA: don't mind the color but they need less of it (change the pants or helmet)
19-ATL: another uni update gone bad. I do like the newer logo.
18-TB: "Pewter pirates" need I say more?!
17-JAX: keep the black, lose the turquoise...
16-DEN: nothing special...
15-SD: like the lt blue jerseys & white helmets, the navy...not so much w/ the lt blue mixed in
14-KC: plain, but classic. I'd mix in a little yellow into the helmet logo/stripes
13-PHI: like the black, the green's not bad since they darkened the shade. don't like the wings logo, though.
12-DET: I like 'em. the "hawaiian" blue is unique and the black looks nice
11-HOU: nice look, IMO. basic colors but well put together
10-AZ: one updated look that works
9-IND: classic look. nothing flashy but clean-looking
8-NYJ: love the throwback style
7-NYG: see above (they need to lose the red, though)
6-PIT: nothing special but the look works
5-NO: love the blk/metallic gold
4-BAL: all-black looks vicious!
3-CHI: love the bluish-black color. another classic.
2-OAK: plain but their look stands the test of time. They should never change!
1-DAL: navy unis are the ****!! the whites are classic! (I may be kinda biased, however...:) )

I don't think so. In my opinion, practically all the old uniforms are better than the hideous monstrosities that are modern uniforms (i.e. Arena League look). Simple is simply better.

The following are the awful uniforms in the NFL today (every single one of these teams looked far better in their last uniform design):

1. Seahawks
2. Falcons
3. Lions
4. Cardinals
5. Broncos
6. Vikings
7. Jaguars
8. Panthers
9. Titans
10. 49ers
11. Rams
12. Eagles
13. Bucs (I guess I'm the only one who is fond of their old ones)
14. Saints
15. Bengals

And I think the Patriots' 80's and prior version was their best incarnation (with the actual minute man logo)...red blue and white. They did upgrade in the 2000's from the hideous incarnation they had in the 90's, though.

My personal favorite uniforms that I've seen are the old Oilers uniforms, the throwback Seahawks uniforms, the throwback 49ers uniforms (even though they were a rival, I always admired their look while we stomped them :D ), and the Steelers and Packers were nice as well.

Just simple, classic designs with an emphasis on a solid logo and solid colors...without stupid patch garbage on the jerseys or weird pants stripes.

Yep, very underrated.
