Uniforms

Our best-looking white jersey

Cowboys have one of the nicest "home" (technically away) jerseys in the league. I'm not being biased, either. Blue and silver looks really nice, without any unecessarry black striping (like what the Lions did).

Cowboy's uniforms are fine. It's a little mismatched though. The white and blue uniforms are a different shade of blue and the pants are a different shade of silver. Regardless, it's a classic look.

And NO to wearing our blue uniforms at home. As nice as they look, they're good for a twice-a-year kind of thing, kind of like they were our alts. When I think of the Cowboys, I think of their white jerseys.

I just want all the silvers to match, all the blues to match, all the whites to match......that is all i ask.

i hate that we have so many shades of blues, silvers, and whites. It is annoying.

I also don't like how plain our White uniform is. I am not asking for anything major. I just want the star on the sleeve, like we have with the navy jerseys.

Does your user name go hand in hand with your sig, or is that a coincidence?

Lets change the Yankees uniforms while we are at it, you know, to some of those short pant models that the White Sox used for awhile? Man, that was stylish at the moment, doesn't it look good now?

Give me a break people, do you understand that less is more, and tradition matters?

its a new sig....my old one was something about Doomsday...

I decided I wanted Crystal in my sig.

with all the variations of blues, silvers, greys, greenish blues, etc.......it looks like a colorblind middle aged straight white guy designed the uniforms.

i just want 1 color blue, 1 color silver/grey, 1 color white......that shouldn't be too much to ask.

I'm in the mood to ban... anyone who tries to change the Cowboys uniforms...

Hasn't the whole uniform gambit gone on long enough? The only one that even had a modicum of decorum was the use of throwback uniforms - for a day, see what the old 57 Packers looked like, with modern pads, shoes, and helmets... other than that, uniform changing has become a sickness in sports, as they try and find new ways to sell you a Tony Romo jersey.

I want a consistent look, too.

The aqua-marine colored pants we wear are the dumbest looking things ever. Aqua-marine? Are you kidding me?

I'd like to see a slight uniform change, even if it's only the aqua-marine color to white or gray.

The current unis are not "classic." Greenish pants were never part of the classic Dallas colors. They are a modern Jerry alteration. He also (unwisely) got rid of the classic striped socks.

apparently I am the only one who loves our greenish/bluish/silverish pants - totally unique and complementary to the uniform...and I love the solid blue of the socks (stripes were goofy, I thought)...

I would not change a thing, except for our Dec, Jan, win loss record...

now as for our our 'away' blues, I prefer the old school with the grey stripes/numbers rather than what we have now (what's up with the stars on the sleeves???)...

but our 'home' whites are the best uni in all of sports...ever. We have already lost Tom Landry, the Cotton Bowl, Texas Stadium, and our winning tradition...all that remains is the unis...(please, Lord, don't let them change the unis....)

I agree with you on the socks totally. But the silvery/greenish color on the pants was started in early 80s by Schramm, probably in '82 or '83. I wish Jerry would get rid of the current road navy jerseys and go back to the ones in the early 90s that had the silver numbers. These:

And wear these on Thanksgiving and 1 other game:

Oh really, perhaps you can explain then why Juke was seen wearing them New Years eve? :nana:

He was jealous of how they make my butt look so he bought his own. :D

Greenish?
Does the color of the turf and the material used have something to do with the optical illusion?
Bet the farm it does.

It's really only the Very young fans who want to change the Uniforms, the Cowboys have a Classic look like the New York Yankees, why on Earth would we want to change?. If you want something modern go root for the Titans or Broncos.

Agree. The current white jersey still rules the land. I actually dislike the "thanksgiving" jerseys, although white helmet with the blue star ain't bad. However, at the end of the day if you messed with the regular white and blue I'd be pretty pissed.

While I wouldn't care if Dallas donned shirts and skins for home and away jerseys as long as the outcome was a win - I will say that I really thought the mid 90s star jerseys were awesome. I think I had like 10 of them. I was also like 10 at the time, an age where jersey wearing every day was acceptable!
