Unpopular opinion:The one position I really wanted in the first three rounds I felt they needed

We are more of a reactive team instead of proactive one. It’s going to take another Zeke injury to tell us we need more depth at this position

pollard is pretty damn good but I see him as like Felix Jones. You give him more and you’ll get less

I really wish they would’ve drafted high in this position

When they asked Will McClay about UDFAs they were happy to get, the 1st one he mentioned was the RB. They like Rico Dowdle but he is coming off a season ending injury. The dc.com media guys (Helman, etc..) say that fans would be surprised at how much the coaches like Dowdle.

In limited exposure he hasn’t shown much.

- No ... we don't and should not have reached out to a RB within first 3 rounds ..

- We needed to add difference makers in the trenches, and it's been shown repeatedly too many games are won and lost by what happens in the OL-DL trench wars. tgu

- Zeke at the least could be a Mark Ingram 2.0 at this stage of his career. just as Sean Payton made a Ingram/Kamara one-two tandem work effectively in Nawlins .

- Pollard has flashed the breakaway speed to strike fear in opposing defenses, unfortunately we don't have the OC that will bring out the very best in
his skill sets, both as a runner and a receiver.

- And it was too inevitable that a WR was needed badly with Gallup likely not to be available for quite some time into the reg season. and the WR depth
depleted.

- Not only did i agree with the value picks of the Cowboys (yeh, the Tyler pick had to grow on me) but the point they address
with the most dire needs with those first 3 picks- always the most critical and likely starters or heavily contributors.

If/When we decide to move on without Zeke, we'll very likely go the Derrick Henry, Nick Chubb and Alvin Kamara route (guys drafted in with 2nd to 3rd RBs that
will be asked to either an immediate starter ..or heavy rotation contributor until he is fully ready to start.

I have my doubts about us drafting a RB in the first round.

Has never been unpopular with me, I wanted to see some mid round investments being made at RB3 for several years now and especially now considering the extended season.
Having RB3 investment would have immediate return on investment and preserve Zeke and Pollard throughout the long regular season, I want my primary RBs still being able to feel their thighs entering the post season.
Why, and not directing this at you just saying why has the RB3 been so ignored on this roster, considering the minimal cost to upgrade?

Give ANY NFL rb some running lanes and they will punish defenses. Zeke just can't make any guy miss, no elusiveness. So he needs more blocking help than maybe Pollard.

Don't need to draft an early round back. Plenty of guys can run the ball.

Pollard should be packing his bags in FA next year and Ezekiel will mirror the biblical name next season with more miles on the tires then a UHAUL Truck escaping New Yawk for Texas . Your RB wish should be a Will McClay scouts assignment in college football this year.

I wanted the Cowboys to draft a RB also, but they did have another year before they absolutely needed to draft a RB. Some guys are saying next years RB class is better than the '22 group, so it's all good to wiat a year.

Never draft a RB until you want to make him your new starter.
Never sign a RB to a second contract unless he’s playing like a future hall of famer.

You want to get your full 4 years out of a RB draft pick, and you definitely don’t want him to be #3 on the depth chart, not even for 1 year.
