If he tweeted that from general population, there may be some merit to it. If he tweeted from protective custody, I'd be leery.

Would be a massive upgrade, however I just can't see it with the current contracts status of some players already on the team.

regardless, everyone knows every FA will be rumored to have interest from the Cowboys. I actually think some of their agents start some of those rumors to drive their prices up.
Whether true or not, Suh to the Boys rumors are going to go crazy soon.

Even if not true, I think I'd be good with signing Suh. That guy is literally one the most talented players out there. I don't know how his play jives with Garrett's philosophy though

This incarcerated bob dude is a bad source. He just throws plausible rumors out and hopes a couple stick. When one does he praises himself for being "first" to gain followers.

Kind of like Brian Broaddus.....except Broaddus can sound more believable because of his connection with the team.....but yet the same....

They surely haven't gotten 100 million dollars worth of Mario Williams though. For 100 million I better have JJ Watt.

Sure they have. No Mario Williams they win 5 games each year since he signed with them. Hes the best player on one of the best lines in football and has played at an All Pro level since he signed.

There is absolutely no way anyone in the Bills organization regrets giving him that money

Let's say they sign or attempt to sign suh, how are they still going to ball bag Dez on personality related issues?

If you sign Suh to a 100M contract you are saying goodbye to at least 1 of 3 out of Dez, Martin, or Fredbeard. I'd rather sign my in-house guys instead.

Suh's bad behavior clock got re-started with the Rodgers' incident, do you really think he'd ever get the benefit of the doubt on any infraction as a Cowboy? The league would probably suspend him for three games, just for signing with us.

I doubt JJ will ever spend big FA bucks again. None of his signings have worked out. Carr had a decent first year but since then......

I just don't see him being a Cowboy. He is gonna be looking for in excess of $40 plus million guaranteed. Dallas has avoided the big FA signing of late and don't see why they change the formula now.

Honestly he's awful with getting stuff right. Like everyone else said he hopes it comes to fruition so he can say he said it first and was right. One question I have tho. Who drafted Suh? Was marinelli there then?

I think it more likely results in the star system we had in the 90's. It started great but ended with diamonds surrounded by trash, no depth and 1/3 of the cap getting occupied by dead money. Maybe we'd have to sacrifice Fred the way we lost Stepnoski, but I think it's more likely the middle tier guys we lose.

But let's say you're right. If we drafted a defensive player that turned out to be great, or Lawrence or Crawford became great, wouldn't that put us in the exact same situation? Is the goal to not add great players on defense?

A $100m contract is a $100m contract. What does it matter to the cap if the player was drafted by us or another team.

Also, couldn't we say we made room for Suh when we cut Ware? Seems like a pretty even swap cap-wise.
