Covington is a 1-tech and so is Woods. That's more than any team in the NFL needs on a gameday roster.

The rest of this post is nonsense, since Taco is gone, Crawford is gone, Hyder is a DE, and Jackson has never played DT at all.

The Lions traded for Snacks Harrison and then signed Mike Daniels and STILL have one of the worst run defenses in the league. These guys are just useless.
Both Daniels and Harrison have been dealing with injury this season .Daniels actually just returned against the bears after missing the last six games due to a foot injury. He also missed six games last year due to foot injury. Harrison has been nursing a groin injury yet still managed to have six tackles versus the bears . Both. Men are 30 years old.Daniels has had 30 sacks over his career and made the pro bowl in 2017. Harrison led the nfl in run stops for three consecutive seasons from 2013 to 2016. But according to you ,they are both trash..........
Ok

Ok
They are good players.

The utility of a 1T is useless.

Woods is 6-0 and 318 pounds, as per his NFL draft profile, he's thick from neck to knees. That's by definition a 1 tech position player.

But whatever, I wish the Cowboys would draft some 6-1 350 lb guy in the first round so we could see if that is truly all this team needs to be a top notch run defense, and if not we can get over this "we need a massive immovable NT or this team will never win a SB" question...

Woods is an OK run stopper. He doesn't anchor as well as some, but he's OK.
