We must beat the Niners and Eagles or #1 seed is gone. Lose to either or both and we’re 2 or 3 games back. I don’t see Niners losing more than 2 or 3. Eagles might lose a few as well but we would have to run table to catch up. All this is dependent on injuries of course.
Don’t think 1 seed even in picture. Niners and eagles probably losing 3 games max. .

3 of 4 games away - against San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Chargers - combined record of 10-2.
1 home game against the resurgent Rams.

Maybe I'll become a believer if the Cowboys can win 3 to 4 of these games. Until then, they are still looking up at other teams in the NFL, with work to do.
The only tough game is 49ers. They are going to wax both Philly and the Chargers.Rams are a surprise but we will handle them.

Shouldve beat Zona to allow for more room for error smh

We gotta go 9-4 the rest of the way now
To get the number 1 seed probably need to be be 11-2. Detroit is in a bad division and plays the AFC West and NFC South. Let’s just get to the playoffs and get healthy. I like our chances then.

Look to go 1-2 at best during that spread. 49ers is an auto loss. Eagles might be a win since we fare well against them but Hurts will kill the defense much like Dobbs did. Chargers offense is great, meaning a hard matchup for our defense. Their defense however, is not great. That said, our offense is not great as a compliment. Could go either way but they are better coached and have a better QB so… they might pull it out.

To be frank, I really believe we go 0-3 in this stretch but to be “optimistic” I’ll say 1-2.

The hardest part is later on, Dallas needs to come out of this part of the schedule at 3-1……and healthy too.

People are ragging on the Eagles for some unknown reason. There’s no team, organization, or players I hate more, but they are still better than the Cowboys. OL, run game, TE, receivers, pass protection, QB mobility. DL and CBs. All better than our roster. Of course we can beat them, but what positions do some of you guys think we are better at besides DE depth?

If the Boys get thru this season and make the playoffs, that was a hell of a schedule to get thru. No one can say we had an easy road to the playoffs. Meanwhile, somehow Philly gets their tough ones at home.
Maybe we can play another 8-9 loser team in the playoffs for an epic lifetime achievement.

The Niners, Eagles, Bills, Dolphins and Lions all have top-10 running offenses; the Cowboys have an average run defense, currently ranking 13th in the league. Dallas’ ability to stop the run will determine their success. Given the Cowboys’ difficulty in scoring TDs, particularly in the red zone; the defense will have to carry the team.
In previous games played the Cowboys’ opponents lacked the offensive firepower to stress the defense; however, the Niners, Eagles, Bills and Dolphins have the ability to do just that.
Wins against these teams will give Dallas legitimacy as a playoff contender; more so than previous wins against the Giants, Jets and Patriots.

4-2 at the bye was my goal before the season begun looking at schedule.

5-3 after this tough 4 game stretch is reasonable setting us up for reaching 10-11 wins this year which was my feeling heading in based on a tough schedule overall.

My expectations could rise if our defense can dominate playoff caliber teams and offense can increase Redzone offense.

The toughest part of the schedule is

Week 13 to 17
Seattle
Philadelphia
At Buffalo
At Miami
Detroit
Yea, that’s another really tough stretch. Prob all playoff teams.

This is a brutal schedule in 2023 . And why my expectations of 10-11 wins was below many fans who thought 12-13 wins.

As long as the starting offensive line is available...bring them on!

That’s what everyone thinks the Eagles are better than us. Wait Dallas will hang 40+ on them. Eagles secondary meh!!!
