Lord knows we need some talent at the position. Have at it and start listing your favorite prospects.

I notice nfldraftbuzz has a quite a few LBs graded in the 84 to 87 range.

Arvell Reese is a guy shooting up boards this year. He might be a guy we have to take with our 1st pick if we want him. Same with Sonny Styles.

Hill and Allen could be candidates for our 2nd FRP

CJ Allen out of GA fits the bill . Heat seeking Missle going after ball carrier can go sideline to sideline , Dallas needs athletic LB’s that bolster the defensive line .

He’s an early round pick your not going to find him in a Jerry after thought mid round neighborhood .

Overshown

1) he isn't in this draft class

2) we need more than 1

3) he has plenty of ability, but the injury history is insane. I hope he makes for an amazing comeback story, but I'm not betting on it.

Im skeptical given the injuries .

Taurean York. As an A&M fan he would be an immediate impact player for us. He’s been great since he started playing as a true freshman
My Son sent me a few clips of York, and it's rare he does that. I was geeked about this dude's game because I like smart, full speed, reckless defenders. Excellent suggestion @Cowboys93 .

Great instincts/processor and tackler. But being only 5' 10" he can get eaten alive if OL gets on him and his change of direction in the passing game is stiff. With our scheme relying on LB's to be able to efficiently drop in coverage and have some length to help close windows in zone, I don't think York is a fit ...not knocking the player at all, but his success at the next level will depend on scheme.

Absolutely. All about fitment. If he was a few inches taller he’d be a bonafide first rounder

Cincinnati LB Jake Golday is a player to watch. Dude is tearing it up this season. His combine should be legit too; super athletic player.

Reese may very well be the best LB in college ball and could be the first LB off the board in the next draft. He's a converted DL and is still raw (3rd year at LB), but his athletic abilities are off the chart. The same can be said about Styles, as he is a converted safety and is only in his 2nd year at the position. Styles is intriguing because of his ability in coverage and to cover TE's in the slot...his issue is missed tackles and needs to be more consistent in his technique.
I'd love to have either one on the Cowboys.

Styles kind of makes me think of a better and healthier version of Overshown

FS. We have not had a top one since Woody
as bad as we have been at DT, its worse a FS
Dillon Thieneman or Caleb Downs should be priorities
