Upcoming LB class

Lord knows we need some talent at the position. Have at it and start listing your favorite prospects.

I notice nfldraftbuzz has a quite a few LBs graded in the 84 to 87 range.
If team can build on this momentum, be nice to see them use those late first rounders on positions like LB, S and future developmental franchise QB which are all easier positions than others to find an All Pro end of first round. Defensive line is only glaring issue. Any good free agents available?

If they have to draft another offensive lineman with all these recent first round picks, and backups performing admirably, I give up. RB and WR will probably come down to Pickens and Javonte extensions, assuming they play well rest of year. Those are also good spots for a RB, and I'm not convinced Javonte will get an extension even if he keeps putting up these numbers, unless he wants to take one of those Stephen Jones hometown discounts.

I do see some light at the end of the tunnel, but only if they can build on this Jets win which I'm not sure how much it means with Jets being a winless team.

I still think you go BPA at a position of need. This team always gets into we need defense draft or offense drafts and over compensates fixes the hole only for the other side needing to be addressed 2 years later. I think OT needs to be addressed if none of the really young guys does not pop, steele needs to go either move Guyton to RT and draft a LT or Draft a RT and leave Guyton at LT. I would like a TE to eventually replace Ferg. A RB to replace Williams, WR for the #2 or 3# position, DT, DE, LB any and all LB and safety, I do not want Wilson as a starting safety as soon as possible.

Styles kind of makes me think of a better and healthier version of Overshown
Really I mean it would be close Overshown when healthy a beast and he helped Micha If only he could stay healthy I also love Hills play watching the Lb this year is fun

Overshown is a good splash player, but his play is erratic. Struggles in coverage, missed tackles and and wasnt consistent reading blocks. In reality he is strong more of a prospect than a quality player. If you asked who I rather have for one key game at LB right now between a healthy Overshown or Styles, I take Styles. Some splash have gotten this fanbase to overrate Overshown

The advantage also Is Styles is Only 20 years old is what 6 5 not sure what he runs but he moves around smoothly. Didn't he use to play SS?

We have a ton of 5th round picks and probably getting 2 more 5th round comp picks next draft. 4th/5th round LBs is probably where i would look and i can see multiple being taken too.

Reese and Downs will be top 10 picks, and we won't have a top 10 pick unless Dak gets injured.

If the Cowboys play their cards right, they should get at least 5 picks (I'd like more) in the first 3 rounds. Each one should be the highest defensive player on their board.
Where are these magic 2 extra picks coming from?

Call me crazy, but I would like one of the LB picks, if getting possibly two, to be a high floor but maybe lower ceiling. Guy who may be good but not an AP player. But at least we know he's going to be out there and doing his job and not relying on athletics to make up for no idea for what the offense is running.

An Anthony Hitchens, Bradie James level LB would be great right now, as long as Overshown can show he hasn't lost a step or confidence after all those injuries.

The crosschop podcast was discussing our front 7 on defense and I think they decided out of 17 players named, they would keep 7.

They need to attack the front 7 hard both in the draft and free agency.

The free agency pickups can't be the usual dollar store variety either or next year will just be more of the same.
