Season ending? Sure. Especially if he gets surgery which he probably should.

Career ending? I get the sentiment but is there medical data to back that up?

If it is truly possible to be career ending— would love to see the info as there may indeed be light at the end of this long dark tunnel lol
I am just speculating but it would be a wise move for Dak to shut it down if he wants a career as a talking head after football

4 more years of this will tarnish his image but of he retires tomorrow he will have an immediate career in Media as a talking head. Being the QB of the Cowboys is a stepping stone to being an announcer

It doesn’t have to require surgery(normal people) but when it does heal, it won’t be the same along with future mobility issues. In most cases, athletes do need surgery if they want to continue playing.

Surgery is the best option for anyone though because there is a good chance that it won’t heal properly and/or take a long time without it.
Thanks for putting that in layman's terms, lol

And the most astonishing part of that is that benefits are just waiting for these guys regardless of them reaching the pinnacle of sucess or not.

Kind of like serving in the Senate or Congress.....
