And you're an example of a person who lacks the empathy to understand that many Americans are suffering from mental health issues. Time and time again he has done everything the league has asked him to do. You know people with these issues fall off the wagon from time to time. It happens, it's normal, it's to be expected. Don't hold the NFL up as this huge virture of moral authority because it isn't. It's football, it's a game. It's an entity that won't even consider taking a season off in the middle of a pandemic. Gohed somewhere putting the NFL on this pedestal when it's primary goal is to make money. They use the players and the players use them.
A lot of us have mental health issues and it doesn’t give us the right to break the rules of our employer. I’m all for legalization and will smoke the day I retire but do you know how many chances I, and several other people, would get if we tested positive? ZERO.
No doubt weed can help with a lot of issues but there’s also other alternatives. Not to mention, the leagues policy is and was a joke. They knew when they would be tested and he couldn’t stay off the dope for 6-8 weeks? I have zero sympathy for him.
BTW, the NFL is a business, just like a business that most of us are employed by so yeah their primary goal is to make money. We have to follow their rules, get fired or quit. The NFL is no different, how you try to tie that into Randy being a victim is ridiculous.
