I don't feel any sympathy for anyone who knowingly commits a crime.

then i take it you've never sped, rolled through a stop sign...nothing like that, right? or is here where the one "right or wrong" in your prevoius post finds it's shades of gray?

As always, focusing on the most extreme case you can think of rather than the more common domestic violence situation leads to poor logic.

but did it not happen like that? did people not jump the gun simply *because* of the past? while i agree it happens, i also feel *we* should be smart enough to realize it's not necessarily like that *every time* regardless of the past. i know i've been burnt making assumptions based on someone's past before and it coming back to me.

then again i don't run around judging people by what i read online either. if i did that everyone would be an ****** sooner or later.

Regardless -- they pay union dues and it is the union's job to make sure they get due process. Just because the union files an appeal doesn't mean they are defending the player's actions. They are ensuring that the player was treated in a manner consistent with the CBA.

has nothing to do with guilty or not. you are smart enough to know that. this has to do with whether the team is allowed to cut him at this point.

Never any kind of good comes out of situations like this anyway. I Know AJ since high school he and his brother Derek and his folks very nice people. About an hour from Charlotte (Winston Salem) and the 1st time it suprise me and now this wow bad choices and please stop with the "Thug" comment it erks me that tag goes with Black men alot. Making bad choices are just what they are "Bad Decision you make that you have to live with"

wow. you mean it's possible he's not lying? validated by someone who knows him personally??? but he did something wrong before! made a bad decision! once you do that all allegations against you are true - have you not heard? then again you also get due process and that gets kinda confusing to me when one person presents both arguments. : )

then again - do you REALLY know him or ARE YOU him just to put doubt in our minds???? : )

Yes I do know him, the thing is their are all kinds of possibilities (Lying or not) does it matter really? He is hurting himself more than anything and he has to live with whatever becomes of it. Comes from a good family raised well BUT Still no matter how "good' we are we fall from time to time it's called just being human
