This Cowboys D is so bad it's almost fascinating to watch. Over 600 yds to 2 different teams (has a team ever given up 600 yds in a game twice in a season?). 100 points allowed to the Broncos and Saints. 400 yards to 4 different passers, and Brees easily could've done it last night if they hadn't quit passing with half a quarter left. An NFL record 40 first downs allowed last night. On a pace to literally be within a few yards of the most yards ever given up in a season.
Many times this year, the Cowboys' D has looked like a division II college team (FCS or whatever they call it) trying to play a top 5 college team.
A defense whose best players are either breaking down with age, or simply too injury-prone to be depended on.
An antiquated scheme ran by an old man who hasn't had any really success with it in years.
Ah, what Jerry Jones hath wrought. Revel in it, homers. You've been Jones' cheerleading section for years. Enjoy the fruit of his labors.
