Update on Sean Lee...**Expected to miss 3-4 weeks**

Without Lee...We are poised to see a tsunami of offensive records set against this defense.

As great as he is, the records are already being set against us. Now without him, we might set records that will never be broken until robots replace humans as players.

Sean Lee is not even a top 15 linebacker if he can't stay on the damn field for a full season.

I hate him.

Sean "China Doll" Lee talked alot a crap about Jay Ratliff earlier in the year and he still CANNOT play a full season. I told you he did not deserve a contract extension until after the season. Play a few games before talking smack about former teammates. Lee should stick to Flag Football.

...Just a strain not a tear. Just heard it. Best guess is he'll be back after Thanksgiving. Much better than originally thought.

I apologize, I don't have a link yet as this just came out. Though I assume numerous links will be posted on the official site later today. It will be mentioned on Talkin' Cowboys via Mickey and Bryan when they post the non-live version of the show later.

Not sure what grade the injury is but doesn't sound season ending.

From 105.3 The Fan: From inside the locker room, Mickey just said that he can't say that he's done for the season but the injury looks pretty serious. It sucks to hear, but I'd rather know we're gonna be in huge trouble asap instead of wait on pins and needles.

I love Lee but he is just made of glass. Great players are of little use if they can't stay on the field

close to season ending, just another 6 weeks in the season right?

Cowboys expect star LB Sean Lee to be out 3-4 weeks with his hamstring injury, per source. More bad news for Dallas.

Might as well just put him on IR. You know this medical/training staff can't diagnose the severity of a hamstring injury to save its life.

Thanks mods for merging this into this Sean Lee thread which I overlooked. Apologies for starting a new thread - I was just ready to ask for the merge to BP and WG but you guys and gals work faster than me and already had it taken care of - lol. Thanks

He's probably not a quick healer ... so I suspect 4 weeks minimum. Doesn't much matter, this team was giving up a pile of yards with him anyways.

I'm done. I'm so done. This team isn't fun to watch anymore. Why can't we just lose. We have to lose, get blown out and send our fans into existential crises.

It is a shame. He is such a great player but he does tend to get injured. It is a brutal game and maybe his injuries are just random, but still. Greatness needs to be on the field. It is one reason why I was worried with his big new contract. I just worry if he is ever going to be able to play without getting hurt. If he can stay on the field, Dallas got a bargain. But with their cap issues, maybe it would have been good to see how he played this year? Maybe not, but I just hate seeing him get hurt each year.

I know that in the end it doesn't matter what keeps you off the field, but why are people acting like a hamstring pull is a durability issue? When I think of the "made of glass" type of player, I attribute that to guys who just can't hold up to the repeated physical violence and pick up dings much more easily than other players. I've never had a hamstring injury issue, so I am honestly asking out of ignorance. Could another player have pulled that awkward maneuver that Lee did and been just fine?

He's already gotten hurt numerous times and he's not even 30 yet. Just imagine how many injuries he'll get as he gets older. I'd say expect him to miss AT LEAST 5-6 games a season starting next year.
