Some Skins-related news:

They've re-signed C Casey Rabach...

They're interested in OT Chad Clifton, and DE Jason Babin...

CB Dunta Robinson, a player they were reportedly interested in, is close to signing with the Falcons...

Dansby still appears to be in play, Rolle and Peppers are looking more like longshots...

Update-- they apparently have a meeting set up with OL Casey Wiegmann...

What would be better for Cowboys fans, seeing Washington sign another overpriced free agent or seeing Washington going after their most wanted players and being shunned at every turn?

Actually, from what I've read, new GM Bruce Allen has persuaded Danny Boy to back away some from pursuing the biggest money FAs... it'll be interesting to see if it works out that way...

IMO, players like Clifton and Babin would make more sense for them, and wouldn't break the bank (Clifton will get a nice deal somewhere, but probably not a killer deal)...

Allen and Shanahan basically owned everyone, as they did a big fat nothing (despite the entire media claiming a big shopping spree was about to occur)

Clifton would be a good 2-3 year stop gap, Babin, eh, I'd take my chances on a late round pick over him

Dunta Robinson makes the Falcons' backfield much better.

Here is the difference between Allen/Shannahan over Vinny. Clifton is exactly that: A stopgap replacement for Samules. There is no doubt in my mind the backups this year will be 2nd and 3rd round picks (I'd say a 1st round pick, but I am pretty sure we're going QB) Not garbage picked up off the scrap heap and them attempted to be sold as diamonds.

Do you personally prefer Bradford or Clausen?

I want you to trade back into Round 1 for Tebow, but I won't get my wish.

Personal preference is Bradford. That accuracy is ridiculous and his work in boot leg situations would be perfect for Shanny.

Doubt he lasts till 4. Won't be able to trade down, at that point I still say we go with best o-line if Bradford is not there

Probably Bradford...

I understand the knocks against Clausen -- the pampering etc. But I watched the kid play a lot. I love the passion, the fire and he's tough. He got the hell beat out of him his freshman year and just kept getting better.

I would not be opposed to dangling Okung to SF, and snagging one, if not both, of their 1sts. I may also be smoking so really good crack with that one :)

Per Ravens Insider on Twitter

Free agent tackle Tony Pashos on his way to visit the Commanders, per a league source.

Clifton would be LT, Pashos RT. Fill 2 needs immediatley but can still draft more o-lineman

Bradford's shoulder doesn't scare you away?

If his shoulder is all good, you gotta take him.

Look what happened to Miami being scared of Drew Brees' shoulder.

I wouldn't say 'owned', but they certainly surprised me on that. I think this would mean the Skins are looking to trade down in the draft. They have to find replacements for those players somehow.

As always, it's never hard to prove that media reports are often times just things that reporters make up themselves.

Is Samuels coming back?

Look what happened to Green Bay when they took Robbie Bosco out of BYU. I am not saying Bradford is a Bosco, but it has to be a hold your breath kind of thing.

Absolutley. But then again I'd be holding my breath with ANY QB until they prove themselves.

The Commanders and star QB's don't exactly go hand in hand. Over the last 43 years, only 5 times has a Commanders QB thrown for 24 TDs

Everyone and their brother were saying/posting/linking every major FA to us. Allen and Shannahan just let them run, rather than run their mouths like Cerrato. I would say, yes, they were owned.

That's what people get for believing PFT :)

He retired yesterday. While he will definitely be missed, he needs to do what's right for him.

The thing to remember about that though, is that for about 25 years of that, few QBs did because it was a run to set up the pass league. 24 TDs or not, I'd have to say Sonny and Joe were star QBs. I hated 'em both, but they were stars.
