he lost out to jerry pet cat holmes

you know, the tall guy that cant run routes or catch?

keeping AOA, mcgee, and holmes are all questionable questionable moves IMO

Yup, I agree. Don't like all three, they are below JAG, imo.

maybe we bring in a veteran WR and upgrade Holmes as well? just a thought.

I think people are jumping the gun. How do we know Holmes isn't gonna be cut too?

Prediction: Danny Coale will have a vastly superior career to Cole Beasley.

Hope I'm wrong, but that's my gut feeling.
I agree with you. Just the small sample of cuts so far shows me why Dallas was 8-8 last year and why we can expect the same thing or worse this year. If Jason's input was the determining factor on these cuts, then this most probably will be his last year and rightly so. You just can't have a good team when you get rid of better players then you keep and repeat this scenario every year.

I have been a true Boys fan for many years and no longer think I can continue to support the Boys in total because of leaders(owner,gm,head coach) that have no clue what it takes to make a team. I will continue to watch the games but no longer will sweat the internals of the team. I know they say you have to take the bad with the good, but I'm tired of it all being bad and very rarely any good results.

Fire off if you must but I bet there are many others out there that feel the same way. Good Luck Boys Fans

Honestly, he hasn't looked all that overly talented to me in the preseason games he's played. Holmes outperformed him last night, as a matter of fact. Pretty sure Holmes is also much better in special teams.

It's kinda humorous to me how the collective messageboard heros and goats get collectively decided.

Its the Special Teams ........Holmes played well there.....Coale ever see the ST units?

Garrett just said he won't "announce" moves until tomorrow. I'm listening to the press conference.

All the cuts haven't been listed. I will be shocked if AOA makes this team.
McGee shouldn't either. Maybe they are trying to get a late pick for him.

The Holmes over Coale pick makes pretty obvious sense to me. Holmes has simply out played him the last two weeks. Holmes has a skillset with his height currently missing from all the other WRs on the roster. Coale pretty much looks like the same skillset as Ogletree, Harris or Beasley. Holmes is also a key contributor in the ST coverage units. I don't believe Coale does much of anything in the special teams. A 5th or 6th WR who doesn't play special teams will almost always find his way on the outside looking in.

The only argument for Coale is that they used a draft pick on him. Tim Benford has a better argument than he does.

Garrett did not comment on Rudy Carpenter's tweet; again, deferred to tomorrow.

The rest of the league still has its final preseason game to play tonight, so the action will be fast and furious tomorrow and Saturday.

It all works out 24 hours from the deadline to sneak a guy to practice squad.

People do realize the cuts aren't over. I kee seeing post about people who weren't cut
