Obviously they're still working on something if they haven't cut the last two

I wonder what the opinions will shift to if they can trade one of those three for a pick?

It would have to be McGee IMO though to warrrant a trade.

I know they said they're not trading Felix, but think about it rationally here.

There is no way they keep 6 RBs on the roster. No way. So one has to go. Why the delay in cutting one if it's inevitable? I doubt it's that difficult of a decision if it is just coming down to Dunbar vs. Olawale.

As well, most likely trying to trade McGee before they just cut him outright.

They're going to have to do something about TE. The team runs too many 2 TE sets and doesn't have a backup FB on the roster to go into a season with a bleeding spleen Jason Witten, John Phillips and John Hanna who had a nice preseason but couldn't handle Y responsibilities if he life depended on it. I wouldn't be surprised if they're working the phones with the Chargers for one of Dante Rosario/Kory Sperry/Ladarius Green (although I don't think there is a chance that Chargers give up Green).

I imagine they're trying to work out a trade for McGee.

You mean carrying 4 because of Witten's status?

Sure sounds like the Giants are in market to trade for an OL...

I wonder if they have Olawale in mind for 4th TE.

They're probably trying to do deals to get players they like at positions of relative need without exposing those players to waivers first. In that scenario, players like McGee and Dunbar have value because they are commodities a trade partner might want to avoid getting to waivers, too.

So you risk some good players at positions where you are deep to try to get upgrades in a restricted market in positions where you're thin. Meanwhile, your super fans **** themselves because they don't know the details of what's going on. It makes some sense.

I'm just glad we're getting deep enough that the cuts are starting to hurt again.

I have seen speculation to that effect. Olawale has played receiver and fullback. He has the size to play the F-back position, if not as an in-line tight end. If they need someone there, they can always throw in an offensive (or defensive) lineman.

Will Beatty's back must be in bad shape.

Whoever was playing tackle in place of Beatty was getting their lunch ate by Jermaine Cunningham.

I haven't seen that game yet, but I know they were talking about moving David Diehl to LT and playing Sean Locklear at RT.

I can only imagine the collective freakout going on here if we had Sean Locklear starting at right tackle.

Im hoping to hear the same about Coale.......come on Dallas....get Coale on the PS

im pretty sure why would want him on the PS, too. I don't see that info on Hamilton as "breaking news", either

IDK why we didn't keep Szczubebreajfd..We can't get Ladarius Green as he is to serve a 4 game suspension I believe for PED's.

There is a guy down in Houston named Cody Wallace who I love as a backup interior guy too.
