Gordons deal was worth less than the min tender, which is the minimum amount of money he can make this season $630k.

I thought Sensabaugh and Spears would have received the first-round tenders worth $2.621 million. Not surprisingly Shaun Suisham was not tendered, making him a free agent.

We're still trying to figure out Duke Preston's situation.

So if someone signs Siavii to an offer sheet, we get a 2nd round pick in return? Noice.

Even if Miami takes McQ for a 7th, that would be pretty sweet.

hmmm, guess they are pretty confident they will get Sensabaugh at a decent price to match if only giving him the 2nd tender

would have been nice to just put the 1st on Sensabaugh, not sure the thinking on that one.. him and Miles are the 2 most important players to retain, oh well.

I don't think this is correct. According to the CBA, that would apply only if we gave anyone drafted lower than the first round a first-round tender. We didn't do that.

We did give Miles Austin the first-and-third tender, but that is not what is written in the CBA. It specifically says the first-round tender. Perhaps the rule still will apply, because Austin's tender was higher than the first-round tender, but that isn't how it is written in the CBA.

Here's the applicable portion of the CBA --

(c)(i) Notwithstanding Subsections 2(b)(i) and 2(b)(ii) above, in the event that a Prior Club tenders any of its Restricted Free Agents originally selected in a draft round lower than the first round a Qualifying Offer that requires Draft Choice Compensation of one first round selection (the “(c)(i) Upgraded Tender”), the Prior Club shall only be eligible to receive Draft Choice Compensation of one second round selection for any of its Restricted Free Agents originally selected in the first round of the Draft, unless such Restricted Free Agents have each received a Qualifying Offer of at least the amount of the (c)(i) Upgraded Tender.
