Updated: Current list of tenders/resigned *Merge*

I think they are hoping to get a few extra picks or trying to go cheap on a few guys.

I'm not, he's not that good.

Is he great? No

Is he a good Strong Safety who played most of the season with a cast on his hand and still performed better than the average SS? Yes.

Right now I have to be thinking that Spears is pissed that Hatcher, Bowen, Hurd and Procter are set to make more money than him this season.

Unless he's getting a long term deal worked out.

I feel bad for him right now and I have been saying that he underachieves for three straight years.

You are blind my friend.. one of those clowns that prolly only wants to remember the TD with his back turned

2nd round tender on Cory freaking Procter!?

WHY is this team compelled to keep that guy!? I expect NOBODY to offer a 2nd rounder for Procter. NOBODY.

I'll say right now if Watkins, Spears, Proctor and Junior all signed elsewhere I wouldn't be upset, in the least.

That's very wishful thinking though.

Its like he has some dirt on Jerry and Stephen, that is the only possible scenario here. How a player can freaking blow like Proctor and keep a roster spot on an NFL team is simply beyond logic.

2nd round tender for this scrub is amazing, I seriously have no idea what the hell Jerry and Stephen are thinking.

That's usually the point of tendering a guy.

While I agree, I think that they're paying Proctor more than he's worth.

in the FA market I bet he'd hardly get a look...

And you'd certainly lose that bet. Almost every young free agent lineman who has any experience gets a look. Even Joe Berger, a guy who couldn't beat out Proctor in 2008, got signed as a free agent last year.

Adam, I hate to play the pessimist, but it seems to me that the wording of that clause would include a first round tender or a first and third round tender, since both tenders do require first round compensation. But I'm no lawyer.

jerry does not want the band to break up

According to The Associated Press, Preston was given an original pick tender (fourth round).

I'd have to match any offer for Miles Austin, even if it meant not landing a mid round 1st and 3rd and paying a huge contract.

Well played, sir.

So if someone signs Siavii to an offer sheet, we get a 2nd round pick in return? Noice.

Even if Miami takes McQ for a 7th, that would be pretty sweet.

Yeah, that would be pure gravy... :D

The NFL officially lists Spears' compensation as a first-round pick.
