Repeats the same thing over and over, hmmm?big dog cowboy said:12 out of 40 replys by Nors and he said the same damn thing in each.
Nors said:those are bogus weights
DC.Com has different #'s
Nors said:Fact is Als is not 250
You believe that you are dumber than a rock - I said 10 times in thread those weights are BOGUS.
No one can post facts - DC.com is best source of facts.
Burnett will beat out ALs!!!!!!!!!!! That I feel great about. Keep defending the guy who makes no plays. Same clownage defended staying 4-3 cuz we had Ellis and Glover!
Nors said:Seriously - Like the injury report. The league should have a weekly weigh in. Having played football its the running joke - what do you want your weight listed at? Teams can jock that. Is Petitti 361 or 330? Who do you believe?
Nors said:See Hos's post - Pittdog has Rob 20+ pounds under listed weight at DC.com. I'm just lobbying to have all players true weights listed and updated. As games are played there sometimes, if you missed that.....
Nors said:BZ - so you accept faulty weights? Thats lack of attention to detail. A flaw in your makeup.
Actually yes - I'd love to fly there and weigh them all in on the record. In fact isn't that what Parcells does!!!!!!(behind closed doors?) Incident in weight room player said he weighed X and Parcells called him - he was 30 pounds heavier on scale. Now is Parcells above playing games with weights OFFICIALLY "listed" - Absolutely NOT!
Nors said:1) I proved to you official weights are somewhat bs
Nors said:The weights have no basis - bogus
Go to DC.Com for the real weights.

Oh wait, you were serious about that??
OK, try this on for size:
DC.com has Larry Allen listed at 325, which was his playing weight his rookie season... yet he was overweight when he arrived at camp, and by most reports is still tippin' the scales at around 335...
Chris Canty is listed as 279, but I have read several articles about him this week that claim he's 295...
Leonardo Carson is listed at 292, articles I've read in the last week or two list him at 305...
Jason Ferguson is listed at 305, numerous recent articles say he's 310...
La'Roi Glover is listed at 282, but the media has made a big deal about how he's up to 288 now...
Reggie Love is listed at 224, but stories about him in the last coupla weeks list him at 240...
Rob Pettiti is listed at 347, but his own dad said (on this very board) that he was down to 335 at the start of camp...
Jacob Rogers is listed at 305, same as last year, yet the reports are that he's up to about 310, and is much stronger...
Ben Noll and Kurt Vollers are listed at 300 pounds, yet I've read articles about both that said they'd upped their weight to the 315 range...
Marcus Spears is listed at 307, yet we've all read reports that he showed up to camp at 289...
That's a pretty lengthy list of inaccuracies there, Nors... the most compelling, I think, are Pettiti and Spears... both of their listed playing weights are like 15 pounds more than they seem to be at this time...
I repeat, if you count on DC.com for players' numbers, you're allowing yourself to be misled... I make no claims as to the accuracy of Ourlads' numbers, I'm just showing you how utterly reliable the team's "official" website is when it comes to the raw numbers...
I don't know where you got the notion that their numbers were reliable, I've been on a mission for some years now to get them to do better in this area... I've written letters to Jerry and everything... I also think they should list the 40 times their players run at the minicamps...
blindzebra said:To be fair, Nors has said that the DC.com numbers were not reliable.
The problem is he is arguing both sides when it fits his argument.
When he posts the Nors' weights, that are usually 5-15 pounds different than the DC.com weights, then DC.com is not posting accurate weights.
When another source posts weights that blow up his argument, then the DC.com weights are accurate.
Can't let these petty inconsistencies spoil a good rant, now can we.
silverbear said:I was just hoping that Nors would try to address the inconsistencies I pointed out... you're quite right, of course, he's arguin' out of both sides of his mouth, changing his story to fit the changing circumstances...
But anybody who attempts to claim that the DC.com weights are even close to accurate is completely clueless... they aren't, and they haven't been for years now...
Crown Royal said:A birdie told me yesterday that Singleton has played at 228 his whole career.
junk said:I hold off on asking ages because I know that will screw you all up as well. Al will somehow be "pushing 35" and Burnett will be "almost 21".

I address all. The weights listed in this post are a farce
I accept DC.Com weights.
There is a big difference between size of Shanle who has played at 245 and is a 3-4 ILB and ALs a 228 pound LB puffed up to 236.
Same with Canty versus Ellis.
