Upgrades coming

- Brian Waters
- Anthony Spencer
- Lance Dunbar
- Jay Ratliff

We still have a lot of contributors who are scheduled to come back within weeks 2-6.

We had issues in that win, but we also have a lot more to look forward to. I'm pretty excited about this team.

Yes, I think the offense will start clicking and the defense will only get better as they settle into the nuances of the system. Add to that our projected stars returning in the next few weeks and I think we can be very competitive....very competitive.

When those 4 guys come back, there will be 4 new guys injured. It's not just us--it's the NFL. You rarely see a team with absolutely no injuries for a game. That being said, I can't wait till Ratliff and Spencer come back. I wouldn't mind Spencer playing limited snaps the new few games. Selvie proved he can handle the load. Same goes for Ratliff with Hayden stepping up.

Yes but very few teams have the level of talent infusion we are expecting coming back midseason.

Ratliff does not deserve a starting spot on the DL until he earns it. His flame has burnt out.

I really don't get the contempt for Ratliff. He played as an undersized NT for years in the 3-4 and took a ton of abuse. He got hurt last year for the first time and the claws come out. I understand his contract isn't great, but I am excited to see what Jay can do in the 4-3. I don't expect him to be a Pro Bowler, but he could be a difference maker in this D.

Don't understand all of the Dunbar love on this board. He's a non-factor, dime a dozen running back in the NFL. He's not making any kind of significant impact. What about him makes you think otherwise? And thats a serious question.

Waters will be a huge addition as Bern looked like he doesn't belong on the roster at all. He'll also make it possible to run on the right side since that was just a no go last night.

And of course having a healthy Spencer will be a big help on D.

Ratliff....ehhh. Can't say I care about him much anymore.

Speed as a reciever out of the backfield. He makes guys miss, which Murray doesn't do. He was a rookie last year so if you were unimpressed that is why, he had a great offseason and the team was looking forward to using him. Just watch the catch and run he made against the Cardinals this preseason and you'll see why people are happy to get him back. No one is saying he is going to dominate games just adding another element to the passing game.

idk probably has something to do with his insane speed.

There's going to be a lot of disappointed people when Dunbar only sees like 10 offensive snaps.

I gotta admit I wish Spencer would park it for a couple more weeks so we can see more Selvie.

Selvie reminds me of Ellis in a lot of ways and he fights to cause disruption.

Something tells me we'll be seeing a lot of Selvie the next 2-3 weeks, no matter what. At best, AS isn't going to hit the ground running.

Its amazing that people continue to give Bernadeau excuse after excuse. Did you watch the game over again? I think because Broaddus for whatever reason is in love with Bernadeau, that people think he must be good. Broaddus is overly loyal. You need to move on. He is below average to awful. Was one of worst starting guards in league last year
AMEN, I still don't get how you can totally miss a 335 lb DT when u are lined up nose to nose on him....6-8 times a game. Bustardeu was awful a year ago and still horrible this year. Hopefully waters is ready to roll this week in K.C.

It's called game speed-Wilcox vs. Allen is exhibit A. Plus Dunbar actually tries to run to open space unlike Murray who plays RB like a LB. And I am a Murray fan FYI.

I'm not sure what you've been observing, but I've seen a very explosive, dynamic player who plays with heart. He has exceptional quickness which adds a dimension that this team lacks on offense.
