I would be fine. Take mike Davis in the 3rd and we are off and running.

1 - CB Peters/Jones
2 - CB/S Eric Rowe

No, but Rowe is unlikely to be available. In 3 of 6 mocks from the top guys at ESPN and CBS, Rowe was a 1st round pick.

Jones or Peters would be my preferred picks based on the projections for availability.

I would be ok because our Secondary is our weakest link. Give us two top CB prospects, with one being a top S prospect as well, it can only improve us in that area.

We can then use 3, 4, 5, 7, 7 to add a DT, pass rushing DE, swing T, swing G, and LB.

Look to UDFA for the QB, RB, and WR positions

Like RS said... depends on who they passed up.

As far as those two players (Jones and Rowe), I really like them both and would't mind adding them to the team. Both are big enough to play some safety but skilled enough for corner. Marinelli could mix and match in his secondary and it should add a real mix of abilities.

In early March, Rowe was at best a 4th round prospect, had him there in my mocks. Now he is a 1st round prospect.......great for him, bad for us.

Join the crowd. I kept putting Kevin Johnson as our late second round choice since January. Now suddenly, he probably won't be there at 27.

While I was very excited about getting him at 60... it just isn't as good at 27 even if we did get him there.

You can't win as a draftnik. If you think you've found value for your team, then if you're right he rises to the point of no longer being a value pick. If you're wrong then you're wrong.

I'd live with it but I'd prefer if we went another route. I think this draft is "loaded" with CB and RB talent in the earlier rounds. But if we wait around too long, we'll miss out on a good player in a loaded year. We're picking late so our 3rd will essentially be a 4th, and I don't see many impact RB/CBs still there in the 4th. If a real game changer (Gurley, Brown, Shelton) isn't available in the 1st, I'd prefer we traded back and got some extra picks. Plus, I think our 3rd round pick might be a little too late to get a great player. I'd prefer an extra earlier 3rd.

People are throwing poo against the wall trying to come up with creative and new drafts. That will carry on for the next week and then the week leading up to the draft they will start zeroing in.

Right now is nonsense and lying time and I don't even pay attention to the media beyond reading late pro day and workout reports. Twitter is stupid nowadays.

I think I'd be fine with that. CB is a position that you almost literally have enough good players at in this NFL.

Jones and Rowe would be a heckuva draft. It would be hard for me to be more pleased.

I'd then take Jeremy Langford in the 3rd.

I would be mad because my method of improving the secondary is through the front seven.

You watched Dave Johnson? He is more impressive as a receiver than runner and he is a pretty solid runner and blocker. He sets up his moves and breaks better than a lot of WR rated far above him. Even better, he would project to F-back as well as halfback and replace Clutts.

Randle Williams DMC Johnson. I kinda like that idea in the third better than Ajayi or Coleman in the second should we lose out on Gordon and Gurley in the first.

Not thrilled.............I don't see any RBs in the late 3rd that are bellcows...............that means McFadden is the lead dog.

It would make sense. I would only be upset if we passed on players who seemed better.
