Urban Meyer for coach

Yes, its florida, but there are alot of florida schools, and alot of schools in the SEC too. Didn't Urban go undefeated at Utah? Granted they play in the WAC, but his Utah team was DOMINANT when he was there. Won a BCS game too if I'm not mistaken.

He's a helluva coach, thats all I'm saying. I just want a coach that wants to win, and who will do anything to do so.

I like Parcells, don't get me wrong, but I just get the feeling that we're treading water right now. Its been a long 11 years

I've always said we need a young fiery head coach in here. Well, Urban Meyer does fit that bill.

Yeh and size is what we got on our current defense but no speed especially at LB position.

When James isnt on the field we wouldnt be so slow.

Carp showed he can cover people.

Akin and Burnett arent slow and we all know Ware has speed.

I tell ya, I think the cream of the crop of coaching jobs is college. You're treated like a God. Even if you have a bad season or two.

Once you establish your name, and win a few games, you're in like flint.

I've heard rumors that Pete Carrol wants an NFL gig. That would shock me. USC is the greatest gig in college. Every kid west of the Rio Grande wants to go there, so there is very little recruiting. Most of which is done over the phone. The rest of the Pac 10 is a joke. Its like a College team playing really good high school teams.
Also, a huge market, with no NFL team in the area. All the exposure you're program could ever ask for. Rose bowl is basically a home game every year too.

God how I hate USC.

Hey to the folks that like Urban Meyer as an NFL HC, I started a thread like this last night about wanting Meyer to coach Dallas and I just got blasted, people calling me names, people wanting the mods to ban me wipe me outta existance.

To all who bashed me. Whether yall like his offense style or not he will be a NFL HC one day and a darn good one. Yall dudes are so short sighted all yall think about is the offense he runs, yeah that style probably won't work in the NFL, so yall won't even consider him? Well what did Jimmy do with his college offense, he scrapped it and got Norv.

When Meyer becomes a NFL coach he will adjust his style, unlike S. Spurrier who tried that college stuff and it did'nt work.

Meyer has coaching qualitys that overshadow Xs and Os, he has emotion, leadership, disipline, fire, just look at the Gator players tonight do they remind you of a certain team we had about 10-15 years ago.

It won't happen, but that guy has fire, and is a helluva coach. Problem is, just like Saban, after a couple years some other college would offer him a monster deal, and he'd have no choice but to take it.

Look what he did for Utah, now for Florida. The guy has what it takes.

Remember this...both Ohio State and Michigan were slightly over rated. Neither had played teams with the talent and speed of Florida and USC. Funny how ordinary these two giants looked in their bowl games, including Troy Smith. Anyone still think he'll be drafted ahead of Brady Quinn? I don't think so.

However, don't give all the credit to Meyer...he had he better talent by far.

Besides, I could see that wild offense running better in Atlanta with Michael Vick....lol.
