OMG he turned his head! Go Cowboys!

Please. This is routine stuff for Carsus. Who is PFF's top rated QB in the league right now. Their ratings suck but they nailed that one.

The jury's out on Rayne Prescott and I'm the foreman of that jury.

The judge has just moved you to alternate.

Know what happens to jurors who show clear bias for one particular party (Wentz) and cant observe a case objectively? Consider yourself removed from the jury

Oh absolutely, reading the defense and changing the play was impressive. I'm equally impressed with the look-off though, because it's one of those nuances that shows just how much he's actually aware of. That's a very specific tool to be carrying around in your rookie kit.

But what is more important is are you impressed with his stats?

He has looked good in limited sample size like Dak.

I just don't get guys like Risen that feel they have to crap on one player because they like the other; this is not a mutually exclusive concept.

Some people are just biased. They are blinded by their love for the Cowboys. It hinders their ability to make a proper analysis.

BS. Dak is playing because QB #! and QB #2 were hurt. Romo was behind healthy players. We're talking about when they hit the field. TBF, Romo had plenty of time to watch and learn. He hit the field with a good deal more film and coach time than Dak.

So your making my point, in Dak's first year he is more advanced than Romo in his rookie season.

What an agitating statement poised as a question born of bias. Most who understand stats use them as a tool with a clear understanding of their strengths and weaknesses. And generally those same people are familiar with passive aggressive behavior.

Member to member....move on if that's all you got.

I have known Percy for a long time on this forum and we both have joked and debated many times. He always posts Romo's good stats to paint him in a good light but never the bad ones. I was just joking with him here. Member to member you should lighten up and not take things so seriously. After all, regardless of our opinions on Romo and his lack of playoff success, we are all Cowboys fans who post here daily because we love and support the team.

No doubt. I have a feeling he is going to have more post season success too. This kid has a burning desire to win. More than any other player on the team. Unfortunately he will be sabbotaged by the owner and coaches just like Romo was. He will have to fade all of that and still succeed. It's possible it could happen though. We had a magical season in 2014 because the players had so much cohesion.

Watching an interview with Prescott....he really is intelligent. I swung and whiffed there. He 100℅ has the head to do it. That's half the battle.

Now the other half? Eh.

Anyone who has watched football knows he has what it takes to do well in the NFL. Of course this begs the question how "well" is enough? We're likely to find out more with each passing game in the next five weeks or so. He seems to be grading out extremely well thus far and also appears to improve incrementally with each passing week.

From all that's being said and written of him, he's absorbing info and instruction at an impressive rate, indicative of an excellent intellect to absorb info and implement it into action. Doing so with excellent poise under duress carries his abilities to yet another level. I can't wait to see how he fares in the weeks ahead. Each passing week will likely offer somewhat stiffer challenges.

It's never easy for any rookie QB to make the grade but so far, he's passing practically every test quite impressively. I'm hoping we'll see his red zone and downfield passing efficiency improve in the weeks ahead. Those should be the next steps to come. It's just a very gradual process.

This experience Dak's had thus far and what will come (both good and bad) in my mind going to be incredibly beneficial.

All things considered, I think he's done outstanding and should only get better.

There was no irony in your "joke," as there's no contradiction between Prescott's performance and the numbers that result from it. This play was on 3rd and 9. Through two weeks of the season, here are the 5 QB (and ties) with the most attempts on 3rd and 7+

Prescott 13 of 15 149 yd 0 td 0 int 8 fd 108.1
Newton 8 of 12 136 yd 0 td 0 int 7 fd 104.9
Rodgers 8 of 12 152 yd 1 td 1 int 5 fd 102.8
Bortles 10 of 14 129 yd 1 td 1 int 2 fd 94.0
Gabbert 6 of 16 35 yd 1 td 0 int 3 fd 66.7
Wentz 5 of 12 58 yd 0 td 0 int 3 fd 56.9
Dalton 7 of 14 106 yd 0 td 1 int 2 fd 45.5
Luck 6 of 12 63 yd 0 td 1 int 4 fd 30.9

You're implying that I either have to be impressed by the performance itself, or by the good stats it produces, but not both. That's why the joke didn't make sense. Make sense?

Also, when you post something that is wrong and somebody corrects you, that's not really a "debate." For example, here you claim that I only post Romo's good stats. Top 5 QB don't have a lot of "bad" stats, unless you specifically go looking for them. About the only "bad" stat he has is his mediocre career passer rating in the first quarter of games, and I've posted this several times. In fact, here is an example of you requesting me to post those stats.

So either you have a poor memory, or you're just making an accusation which you know isn't true.

Or maybe it's another one of your "jokes."
