This isn't a rumor... its one guy's idea:

"While it’s unlikely the Cowboys swing a trade for Seahawks’ cornerback Richard Sherman, it’s a thought-provoking proposal."

Anyways, I would be excited for Sherman to be a Cowboy

ok, what in your mind do you think a player of his caliber, who, i dont know if you know this, is able to think. Now, lets go over the facts, DWare and Bennet are gone, got SB rings. Dallas gets close to the championship game, throws it away by deciding to change schemes.

Now, do you think a player like Sherman is looking at this team and sayig "oh hells yea, theres a team whos been doing NOTHING for 20 plus years, has a modicum of success and tosses it away, now i want to go to a team, waste 2 years for them to put it together and say "SUPER BOWL".

Please tell me how you see this.

Why would we trade what would be a premium pick for a player pushing 30? Makes no sense....If Seattle would take a 4th, 6th or 7th...then I consider it.

Exactly this is a "mock draft".....they should change the title and put it in the draft zone...misleading OP title

Maybe 5 or 6 years ago, Dallas would make this kind of splash trade but not today. I am not even sure Sherman will be anything more than a Carr at this point with the lack of talent on our defense, especially the pass rush.

If we were one legit corner away from a stellar defense, then sure.......go get him. But, until the front seven gets fixed, no CB is going to come in and change much.

On another note.......Sherman is no Sanders!

torn on Sherman.......can't deny his talent but I tend to not like outspoken players. Nothing wrong with peole having opinions but I watch football for entertainment. If a trade involved a 3rd round or higher, I'd say go for it.

Prime Time tho.....I think we'd need to get our modern day version Haley

You're insane. 12 TD's against him in 4 years. And that's with him moving around and playing both sides ,man , against the #1's this past year. I don't get how fans of other teams hate on players not on their team for no reason. Fans of other teams say EE talks too much, and isn't the best in the league because he plays behind our OL. Others say Dak got lucky and played well in Garretts system. Some say Dez is a #2. I even read the other day a guy say JW isn't a First ballot HOF guy, that he's a system guy.
Cmon guys respect greatness even if he's not wearing the STAR.

This is NOT a rumor.
This is just a mock draft and one guy had an idea to include the cowboys trading for Sherman.

Changed the title of the thread since it was not honest and moved the thread to the appropriate draft zone.
