Sherman to Cowboys would be like Prime Time all over again...Super Bowl Champs this year!!!
Good wet dream but no..

I can't see us pursuing him with his salary.

We have to resign Martin first then wait for Romo's cap hit to absorb.

In the meantime I see us drafting CBs and safeties and DL for the entire draft.

For what we would pay Sherman..

we can afford all 3 positions in the draft.

We stink in the 2nd round anyways, so I'm down. You have a 3 year window with minimal invested in QB...let's push it all towards defense and get #6.

Maybe if he was 26 or 27 but hes almost 30. So No. We just have to hit on our first round pick like we have been.

With that said, I'd give up a 4th for him.

It's funny that y'all keep saying he's almost 30, he just turned 29 like 10 days ago. Deion was right at 28 when he signed with the Boys. The money thing I get, although eleven million is awesome when you consider we paid Carr ten million. Sherman is 3-4X the player Carr ever dreamed of being. The trade cost is the best argument I've seen. However, when you really think about it. It will take a rookie 4-5 years to be as good as Sherman will be for the next 2-3 years. Bottom line is this. Most DC fans here have bought into this new way of thinking for the DC as far as money gos. But, we've been at it for six years now, and still have the exact same results.
