Use Duece like Darren Sproles

I will say he has been here 2 years. He had opportunities in games and failed. I would assume he has not done much in practice either which is why he has limited opportunities in the games. So i would say he hasn't earned the opportunity with either his play or his practices. I doubt seriously he is crushing it in practice, embarrassing our D on the daily, etc and not getting in the games.
I understand exactly what you are saying, but just watch how long he sits on waivers, not very long.
Innovative coaches drool over the intangibles that Deuce brings.

Maybe, but every one of them had 6 chances to draft him and didn't. And since he has been totally unproductive when given the opportunities, I doubt he is claimed by anyone. He may get picked up for a PS spot.. maybe.

And if he was on our PS, I would not have an issue with that. He just doesn't belong on the 53.

Explain Jordan Mason? He come he was undrafted??? How is he the second leader rusher in the NFL?
Did you not actually try to accurately read and understand what I wrote in any of my posts? This comment suggests you didn't.

I never said it was impossible to succeed as a low (or no) draft pick, and even said it's possible Vaughn could be successful with another team. I just said we don't know that unless we see it happen.

Jordan Mason has shown he can have significant success, which goes with the definition of "fact" I put in my previous post. But for every Jordan Mason there are countless others that don't do anything close to that well. Again, facts are what are proven and verifiable. Until then we can only opine and assume.

Yes, “coaches drool over the intangibles that Deuce brings” if they come in a player six foot tall and 235 lbs.

and use Luepke like Robert Newhouse
Now, there was a "bowling ball" type of RB.....a big bowling ball. I'm not saying he was that small. He was 5'10, 210 LBS.

He was the leading RB for the Cowboys during the 1975, "Dirty Dozen" season they went to the Super Bowl.

When they got Tony Dorsett, he switched to FB. His thighs were about the size of my waste, low center of gravity, great power.

The Cowboys attempted to get Deuce accustomed to the rigors of being used like Sproles, although the speed and physical factor wasn't a match for what Sproles had to offer. That's surely not to minimize the quickness he has, though. Perhaps another HC will create ways to use him effectively.

not bad at catching the ball either, or passing for that matter

They should also use Dak Prescott like Tom Brady, Zeke Elliott like Derrick Henry, and Jalen Tolbert like an NFL-caliber WR.

Let's all dream for players to be used beyond their capabilities.

Just saying, look around the league and start counting the injuries league wide.
Bet you run out of fingers quickly.

While we are at it we should use Wheat more like Reggie White and Mazi more like John Randle. I think that would give the defense a boost.
