I wish him luck with his next team.............
No, fans are confused because Quinn has him playing a different style than he played previously.
Quinn uses him as a Stack & Shed LB.
- That's basically the equivalent of a 2-gap DLineman.
- To play Stack & Shed a LB must stay center on the blocker (usually in interior OLineman).
- Because OLineman weigh about 310 to 320 and LVE weighs 255, he must give up ground to maintain positioning.
- With Stack & Shed, the LB must avoid getting trapped to either side of the blocker until the ball carrier has committed to that side.
LVE playing Stack & Shed allows Parsons more freedom to play as a Rover and not have to maintain specific gap integrity.
Neal is the coverage specialist LB and replaces LVE on 3rd and medium/long type situations as well as other likely passing situations.
- Neal generally plays Run & Hit, not Stack & Shed.
For whatever reason, LVE is running better now than he was early in the season.
- He is actually above average in coverage as a LB.
We need LB's.I would sit LVE. He made it through 16 games without getting injured. It would be awful if he got injured in game 17, a meaningless game against the Eagles.
Lmao. Looks like he gets a lot of snaps against egirls. Good. We will need him since Parsons is out..Your posts have Greg Zuerlein type accuracy...

So is there really an excuse for the defense not to play at a high level throughout the playoffs? Every weakness seems to have been fixed. LVE is playing well. Hooker is healthy and can take over for a struggling Kazee. Gallimore has made DT a strength. CBs are playing at a high level. DEs are healthy and dominant.
