I'm glad we have Vanderjagt, .. heck, he's a Mountaineer, why would I not be glad.

And every kick that goes through is good no matter what it looked like.

But it doesn't take much imagination when you watch a 28 yd FG hit the upright, and two PAT's barely get inside the upright to think what COULD happen on the next kick.

I like it best when they confidently drill it down the middle from that distance.

i don't know if he was under the weather or not..but bill going for it twice on 4th down at the end of the game well inside fg position makes you wonder.[/quote actually it was the score. i don't think he felt they could score 3 times in 3 minutes.vandy just makes people nervous, but he's missed 2 so far and had a block. before the season started after the last few years at kicker i think most would have been thrilled with what we;ve got form him

How dare Vandy hit a mear 80% of his FG's. Doesn't he realize that he gets more points for kicking it right down the middle??

Oh wait, no you don't get more points for kicking it down the middle. And even one of the kicks for the 80% was a kick that was blocked and was not his fault.....

What type of numbers does a kicker have to put up to get people to respect him?

And if you take away the block, which was Colombo's fault, he's kicking at 86%.

But he didn't make kicks when it really mattered most to fans ... preseason.
