That is so crazy. No one talks about what a bust he was. Most people had him rated as either/or the safest pick/most ready to contribute. That's madness to me. I don't get it how he failed so bad.

Im a little surprised to see Jeremy Trueblood on there too. He was a pretty good player for a couple years.

Lewis on the other hand was a monster when he was on the field. He had issues with his grades throughout his career . This could be a sign that he is just not very smart. That being said, with the proper coaching he had the physical ability to thrive in the Tampa 2 defense.

Lewis has been playing DE his last 2 years in college and also with the Lions. If he converts to LB he would need time either in training camp or on a practice squad to show that he has coverage ability and instincts to play LB. He also isn't exactlya RKG. Plead no contest to a bar fight in April.

Although Jackson has shown flashes of talent during his five-year NFL career, he’s been a disappointment considering what was expected of him coming out of USC. Jackson has just 19.5 sacks in five NFL seasons.

I would like to see what Marinelli could do with him.

I would figure he would play defensive end in our 43 defense. But you are probably right about not being Garret's RKG. Just a thought as far as churning the bottom of the roster and trying to find depth along the DL

Bob sturm cried like a little girl when we didn't draft him. He started hs rant in the second round for him.
