A Scary Post-Halloween Cowboys Story

Think back a few weeks, to the time right before the season and even right after, when Kyle Kosier first injured his leg. The Patriots were locked into a nasty contract standoff with Pro Bowl guard Logan Mankins at the time, and a fantasy among some Cowboys fans had Dallas swapping a high pick to New England for him.
After all, I heard more than once, the Cowboys are probably going to use their first-round pick next year on an offensive lineman. Could they get a lineman at the end of the 1st round as good and as certain as Mankins? Then why wait?
