Zoners: FJ is simply amazing for those of you who have not had the opportunity to watch him in person.

Honestly, I do not understand how he dropped to us in the twenties....hindsight we are lucky to have him on our team.

x2 on the bolded.

One thing in person, when Felix turns the corner and accelerates it SHOCKS you. You know he's fast, you've seen him hit the holes in Philly and Green Bay, but you just aren't prepared for it.

It's like watching National Geographic or the old Mutual of Omaha Wild Kingdom episodes where the cheetah is chasing the impala and Merlin Perkins is remarking on the speed of the cheetah. Your sitting there thinking, "dang this cat is pretty fast to keep up with this impala."

The impala looks like it might get away by turning, twisting, and getting the cheetah off its rear end by some great changes of directions around a few invisible corners, but then the cheetah pops the clutch and throws down a gear you've never seen before. BAM! A cloud of dust and then David Attenborough comes on talking about the cat while it's up in a tree licking it's chops.

That's what its like to see Felix hit his 6th gear. There is no way possible that you can appreciate it on TV.

He makes the corner, the linebacker or safety take an angle, and they end up running to a spot where he used to be. It's sick he's so fast. I think to is the immediacy of the acceleration is what you cannot appreciate unless you see it live. Just like the cheetah. At one spot he's running 30-40 mph, and within a set of footsteps he's doing 80.

What was crazy during the play I'm thinking of, is that the crowd saw it, and it took a second for it to hit what we just saw and then the noise comes up. Everyone just sits there looking at it, not comprehending that someone can go that much faster than anyone else so instantaneously.

If Felix doesn't have 6-8 TD's of 60 yards plus, I'll honestly be shocked.
