I think part of his drop off is by design.

You can't go into playoffs and super bowl as an offensive juggernaut only.

They are riding defense and ball control to SB.

It's the QB situation.. Kap missed two completely wide open receivers yesterday and took a safety. That's not the kinda thing you expect out of a "franchise" QB

This is silly, on a handoff run play like this no qb would see what is happening on the backside.
maybe he should have seen something pre snap.

SF seems intent on getting rid of all of the SB players, they are cleaning a house that did not need cleaning.
They will now reside in mediocrity for a decade or 2 , never saw anything like that aside from when jimmy left here .
