Spencer has 4.5 career sacks. If he is outplayed by Butler and Williams in camp and preseason, he's probably gone. I don't think much of Spencer, so I think this is a possibility.

Linebackers are a premium commodity in the 3-4 defense. If the team is unwilling to give up on Bobby Carpenter for that very reason, why would they jettison Spencer?

All the DBs who have done nothing for a couple years. Ball, Watkins, Brown, Battle.

um, Ball and Battle haven't even been here for a couple years. in fact, Battle hasn't even been here a full season...

Jerry just liked Tank because he had off the field issues and added to the circus.

I think he's changed his mind as about every troubled player he's brought in has burned him. No one likes them but him.

Well, at least they appear to be going after players that are TEAM players. From what I have been reading these guys are the type of players that the Patriots and such put around they're stars to fill in the gaps but... these are the kind of guys that are hungry for success and playing time. I see dog fights all traing camp long if wade lets them hit this year. If not then this draft was a bust, some heads need to be cracked to find out who wants to be a Cowboy this time around. It speaks volumes when a good player goes down (not great) and the team starts panicking cause the back-up is really bad. The mid to bottom of the roster for the team is now up for grabs but playing tag football and seeing who runs the fastest all camp long will show nothing. Its time to see who is going to kick fire out of someone's *** in the fourth quarter with two minutes to go and who is going to have the let downs we had last year happen all over again. If this is our draft Wade... let them take off the gloves.
