I've never used an 'ignore' feature at any forum. No disrespect, but it just seems plain silly. I disliked dantheman with a passion over at the old DMN, but I still read his posts. It didn't cause me the least bit of anxiety in not responding to any of his comments for years. Still, I always want to read as many diverse opinions as I can. Not because I want to read thoughts from those who I agreed or disagreed with, but because I feel it's necessary to keep tabs on every viewpoint which I might have been confronted with in the future. Kinda dorky sounding, huh? :

Care as compared to what? I don't care nearly as much about Vick's involvement with dogfighting as I do about high energy costs, possible global warming or even the Cowboys chances of winning another superbowl.

I guess, I do care. I wish that he nor anyone else would do something so stupid and cruel. But I also wish for world peace, I don't think I'll ever see that either.

So technically, I do care, just not enough to stop watching him play ball if he's not kicked out of the league.

I wonder if that's enough to keep me off of Jack Russell's ignore list.

Good call Jay cee. The idea that anyone should necessarily care if one person in 300+ million in JUST the US might have committed a felony, is simply presposterous. Thank you for illuminating why the fascination with this topic is so unbelievably idiotic.

Indecisive, how ? Should we all have fully formed opinions on the lives of every other person on this planet ?

If you wanted to frame this question as "If you lived next door to this house, would you care if Mike Vick was involved in dog fighting" ? Yes. Under those circumstances, definitely. As a generally otherwise nondescript member of the 6 Billion inhabitants of this planet, whether or not Mike Vick is involved in dog fighting is the very definition of IRRELEVANT. That was generally the point jay cee was trying to make - not to put words in his mouth.

I mean, seriously, there is far, FAR, FAR greater evil taking place on this planet for anyone to be admonishing others for not taking a decisive position on the allegations of dog fighting against Mike Vick. I am just baffled by the obsession with this issue.
