Butler looks a little bit heavier in the butt than Spencer and he is more physical at the point of contact.

It helps if some people actually watch the game. Gross did not take Ware out one on one all night. He had help most of the night and Ware got pressure on Jake more than once.

Really? I don't see that. I think Spencer is a big, strong dude, especially in his legs, but he doesn't have much quickness. Butler looks like he does. So it looks to me like it would work great to have Spencer play early downs against the run and Butler come in to rush on passing downs.

Pretty cool that Butler got the strip sack, too. IMO that's kind of an instinctive move to get the ball loose that not every player has.

Man... Wish we had B-Will to add to this mix, too. Aw well.

but at least the younger Hamlin and Jason Williams will be healthy soon

let's hope that Cu-jo gets acclimated pretty quickly so he can put his speed on the field too

If they can teach that guy how to play at this level his lightning speed will add another demension.

I was astounded to see Victor Butler drafted by the Cowboys, and extremely happy to see him make good plays on special teams and record his first sack of his pro career tonight. The 2nd with the fumble was just icing on the cake.

Wish the Beavers still had him sometimes!

I know they came at the end...but this kid............he might just have what we're looking for. Ware must be hurt........I just don't get it. Gross handled him ALL night one on one. As for Spencer: Missing IN ACtion again....don't get me wrong: he covered well, but NO pass rush whatsoever.

Yea that is funny how they kept showing a rb and TE chipping Ware
