So I made this in the style of the NFL Films year in review 30 minute shows. I did it in the cinematic style most of the old nfl films stuff was made in. I hope it comes across that way. I hope I did a good job of getting the feeling and emotion of most of the games. That is what I was shooting for. I started working on this the week of the super bowl. IT took a long time!
So the video is in 6 parts. Each part is about 10 minutes. I did a piece on 15 games. I did not have an HD copy of the vikings or dolphins game. My vikings recording failed and there are no dolphins HD torrents! The first game against the giants I didnt have the HD recording device yet, so that is from a torrent file and stretched to fit the 1280 x 720 Ratio. It looks a little grainy.
The whole video was done in 720p HD. Unfortunately I can not find an adequate codec and compression setting to get a good scaled down HD file right now. I will in time. So the video is downconverted to a 16x9 SD file. the quality is still very good an much better than an SD image.
When I put these together I edited them with the mindset that I was going to do a voice over track to go with the music and the brad sham audio. After I did the voice over tracks and listened to them on the timeline with the video I hated it. I felt it threw off the whole thing and also my voice sucks for that kind of thing. In the future I will hopefully find someone who can do that for me!!! Anyway, in the openings of some of the videos there is no audio, that is because I pulled the voice over, but the video should still be sufficient to get the point across, little quirky though.
Anyway I hope you enjoy it and would appreciate any feedback, especially which one you think worked the best and acccurately re-created the emotion of the game. Thanks for taking the time to download and watch.
