Thanks a lot for this Theebs...i've really missed getting the highlights of the game w/Sham's calls. it was nice to get one of them again.

and for everyone saying Brad doesn't do well? i don't know what you're talking about? he may not be the greatest announcer ever or anything, and yeah he's made more mistakes lately, but at least he tells you what's going on.

would you rather hear "Austin to the 30, Austin to the 10, Austin made the play, Austin saved the day...." or "Austin....what a day.....no flags on the field.....he can fly on home"?

at least Brad mentioned it was a winning score at one point....i don't think Buck ever said that Austin scored.

Count me in as never doing one of these again.

The video is fine. We're just commenting on the fact that Brad Sham has fallen off a bit in recent years. That's not a critique of you or your video editing skills.

I didnt take it that way.

Its just pretty obvious people dont like him, so there is no point in wasting time doing it.

Theebs, I really appreciate the effort. I couldn't get the Sham / Laufenburg commentary on Sunday due to changes at the KHOY website. It would be a shame if you didn't do them again, but I understand why. There is just no pleasing some folks.

I have the newman interception against carolina I am ready to do later. I might just do it because I already cut both clips!

but after that one, that will probably be it!!

No kidding.

Like I said, we all love Sham. The ironic thing is that he's still one of the most astute commentators on the team... I just wish he'd get back to basics on his actual game calls. He's just drifted a bit, I think.

To be fair, one is a radio announcer, the other is a television announcer. Two totally different things.

And Theebs, please don't take my post as being negative, I just didn't like Sham's particular call on this play. I love Brad Sham, so I'd hope you'd do more of these. Like I said, I have ones that you did back in 2004 still saved on my computer. I don't think you should take it personal that some people are commentating about Sham falling off a bit.. because, well, he has. Doesn't mean that these videos aren't awesome, I absolutely love hearing our announcers in tune with the video of the game. I'm sure everyone really appreciates these videos as much as I do, we were just commenting on Sham, that's all.

I have no idea why you guys are acting like I am taking it personal or something. I could care less who likes brad or who doesnt it.

I simply wont waste time doing them if no one else likes the guy. Its not a big deal. I havent done any in ages.

:laugh2: Sham is so boring. he's the 2nd worst radio announcer in the NFL behind the annoying guy who calls the games for Indy.

he flubs all the time on top of be the most boring announcer out there.

almost as boring as the negative comments you spew on a daily basis around here......:mule:

Romo putting that ball on the outside shoulder 1) keeps the DB from batting the ball down or picking it off, and 2) gives Austin momentum moving away from the DB to be able to shake off the tackle.

Props to Austin obviously, but props to Romo on that play too.

I'd say the majority like him. The reason we were acting like you were taking it personal was because you said you wouldn't make anymore, when 99% of us enjoy these even if Sham has fallen off a bit. That's all I'm saying.

I love Brad Sham. I'd much rather listen to him than just about any other announcer out there today.

Sometimes I wonder if you were dropped on your head too many times as a child Ramp.

For the haters out there, if you think Sham is bad, try listening to those morons calling Skins games on the radio :puke:

FWIW, Sham was excellent as the color guy back when Verne Lundquist was the play by play guy for the Cowboys Radio Network.
