Video Converter (to .MP4)

Anybody know of a good (preferably free) video converting program to convert to .MP4?

I need to convert some videos to get onto my Ipod touch. All I can find are some programs that will convert 1/2 of my video.

Here are a couple I use. XviD4PSP is a lot more consistent, so I use it exclusively for putting videos on my iPhone.

No problem, I put videos on my iPhone all the time, so this was an easy question.

If you don't like those you could try Handbrake.

It can convert to many different formats.
