With Mickey's reaction this week, is there any doubt Jason Garrett is your next head coach?

Kidding... I think.

Those are the type of games great QBs like Peyton and Brady find a way to win...

Thx for the post.

Quick few notes, I feel nauseated agreeing with Spags, but he pretty much sums up my entire opinion on the topic.

Check the 5:15 mark in the first video. If Flo picks up the right person instead of blocking down and helping Kosier, Romo has time to swing his head and hit his checkdown for about a 3-4 yard gain, setting up a first down or 3rd and very short.

That, to me, is the game in a nutshell, along with the defense folding on 3rd and long once Hamlin and Jenkins went out. I dont know why Scandrick played so shallow on a 3rd and 13, especially when it looks like he has help from Carp I think, if they complete the pass short of the first down.

I dunno, but as sick as it makes me, I agree with Spags. As long as we have a good week of practice and dont make mistakes come Sunday, we should be fine.

Which is why Romo is not Brady or Manning.

I dont think any Cowboy fan expects him to be Brady or Mannning.

Just to discuss.

That play was a second and 6.

We ran Felix on first down and Romo was being attacked with the blitz all game.

We had 0 points on the board.

We were down a starting offensive lineman.

Romo had already been sacked 4 times in the game.

Why not just run the ball again and get yourself into a 3rd and short?

Mickey Spagnola makes stuff up out of his you know what.

He's thick and has completely jumped the shark as far as being objective.

Listen to these interviews. He sounds like an idiot in trying to push his views on people.

So now the Cowboys pass vs run ratio of 13:8 is normal? And a good thing?

And Wade Phillips is the king of deception? He's so clever he has the media all fooled with his keen wit?

Just shut up Spags. Collect your check check from Jerry and write your little articles for DC.com. But for God sakes please stop running around trying to act like the Cowboys do everything right all the time and no one is ever allowed to question their actions.

Yes Mickey is the ultimate homer (although his job is not to be objective, his job is to write positive articles for dc.com) and yes, hindsight is always 20/20. We could have called a run play there. It's always 20/20 on plays that don't work.

Who's to say that we dont fumble on a running play? Who's to say it's not blown up like several other runs that game? (it wasn't just pass blocking that our line was not blocking well for, they weren't opening up the best of holes on several runs)

The players can only run the plays that are called (besides audibles of course) and it's their job to do what they're asked. Coaches do have to put players in a position to succeed, and I'm not saying Garrett is perfect by any means. But I think it's really easy to second-guess when things dont go right, and I dont think the decisons made or plays called were that bad. The end result wasn't the best so of course it's going to get second-guessed, but if we simply play better we're not even talking about this right now.

           . Thats Mickey in a nutshell right there. The guy sometimes seems like he has no idea about what he is talking about. Thats why I love when fans call his radio show and check him for it.
