Just came across this on Youtube.

Great finish from 1981 game against the Dolphins.

Is it me or does Danny White keep taking an 11 step drop, lol.

Great game, and insanely good vid quality for a game that old. Everson got his two picks, but they torched him all day long. And boy did Dennis Thurman have a nose for the ball.

I used to love the way Danny would drop back and throw those tight spirals with precision to Drew and Tony! Too bad he didn't win a SB as a starter for the Cowboys! Thanks for taking me back dcfanatic!!

Broadcast quality back in the analog days was a lot better than it is now with digital compression. My older games taped on VHS look a lot better than any games I record these days. Fox's game broadcasts are the worst of the lot, with far too heavy a compression used that causes all sorts of artifacting and gaininess in the video.

Is that what you call the occasional blurring on DVD recordings or are you talking about something else?

Haha, I was wondering the same thing. Miami was stupid to be throwing after they had a two score lead.
