I liked Ryan. I guess I'm one of the few. But I like Kiffin too. He gets me fired up.

I can't say I didn't like Ryan but I did not like using 3 man rush in long yard situations. It seems to me that is when other teams send the kitchen sink in situations where they know you have to throw yet Dallas would rush 3 and play coverage often allowing the 1st down to happen.

I guess I expected more aggressiveness from Rob like I saw in his dad who I can't think of many times he would not send big time pressure

Risen's "Defense at Bernies" crack is all I can think of when I see Monte Kiffin now.

I'm also very comfortable with Kiffin. Mainly because he has Marinelli right there with him and Marinelli did an outstanding job with the Bears.

This. Not a knock on Kiffin however there is nothing that Kiffin has done with this defense lately to excite me either way and there should not be. He can yell and kick tail or sit there and eat donuts all day but until I see this defense working after 4 reg season games, then I'll reserve judgment on the D and how much they have truly bought into this system. In defense of Kiffin, he has not had time to prove himself either way and it's way too early to start critiquing his coaching technique. I think our ace in the hole is Marinelli as he will play as a good barometer in the event the D players start to struggle.
Again nothing against Kiffin at this point and the players are all going to say the right thing about the D right now because it's what all player do in the preseason. When their in the line of fire is when we'll see how they really feel about this new D.

Animated as in walking around without much of a hitch in his step which I guess is pretty good for a man of his age.

Put a play sheet in front of his face and you have Jason Garrett on game day.

Ohhh my thanks so much for the laugh. So is that Garrett on the right, Jerry in the middle and Stephen on the left during next years draft?

No, That's Jerry on the left doing all the talking. Garrett is the one in the middle just taking everything in but obviously not thrilled with his shut up and listen puppet status and Stephen is on the right trying to stay awake going yeah-yeah-yeah.....

Exactly. It doesn't take a genius to know that you send the best pass rusher in the game after the qb on 3rd and long.

Again sounds like the issue is with ESPN it is their fricken clip they titled it because they did not show it does not mean he has not been very vocal and animated with the players.

ESPN did not title that clip. Whoever copied it from ESPN and posted it on Youtube, titled it.

Dick LeBeau will be 76 at the start of the season and doesn't use a playsheet. I am not worried at all about Kiffin's age.

Never understood why that dude consistently gets passed over for Head Coaching gigs.

He was a HC for Cincy for a time.

I kind of think maybe he just prefers to be in Pittsburgh as the DC because it is where he has been for so long.
