Tony Romo and Roy Williams from the locker room...

I do like part of Romo's comments, but the media should not be powerful enough to divide a locker room no matter what they print whether it's valid or not. He sort of admits here that the problems last year were caused because of what the media does and that's a little annoying.

Roy isn't a Terrell Owens. That's not a fair criticism. But it's also something you have to look into on all fronts.

He's not as good a Terrell Owens was either. And he hasn't put up any big numbers while wearing the star yet so I don't understand why he's painting himself as a #1 WR when he speaks. Just go let the play speak for itself. Go put up a big game and then let the fans annoint you the #1 WR.

And the#1 problem with his comments yesterday? That Romo has to answer these questions today regarding them.

Wade just needs to put in the top 3 WRs and if Romo and RW are not connecting, then RW needs to take a seat and let the better WRs play.

I don't think its about a "better" WR playing.

But if he has better chemistry with Hurd and Ogletree than let them cut into his snaps until Roy and Romo are on the same page.

Moving Crayton back to a #2 receiver role is just not an option IMO. He gives us a lot more in the slot than he does out wide.

http://www.dallascowboys.com/multimedia/multimedia_center.cfm?id=C5EDB383-B675-8798-0B7A486BF19A6C90 go listen to the first 10 minutes of talking cowboys... This was just another example of BSPN trying to stir up drama with a couple quotes and left out plenty of good things Roy had to say... Listen to Rob Phillips, the guy was standing right there, silly silly media and you fans eating it all up b/c u don't like a couple things he had to say

Wait, what?

The Cowboys employees were all about saying this was no big deal?

:laugh2:

Even if it was they would not say it was.

It's not a huge deal. It's something to keep an eye on.

And even you, a Roy lover, have to admit he should have just said what he said in the first interview he did with the cameras on yesterday and left it at that.

He didn't have to keep talking when the cameras and mics went away.

Yeah, Roy is my favorite player on the Cowboys due to watching him since he was a Sophomore in High School & a hometown guy.. then playing for my horns, he didn't have to keep talking, nor did the media have to blow up something more than what it was.. 2 SIDES my friend, and I know Roy has no intent whatsoever to start any kind of controversy, maybe some of the things that come out of his mouth should be just kept to himself but he is still learning the way the Cowboys media-national media work & they are still learning him, how to take things and the way he says different things in the tone of his voice- either making a sarcastic remark.. Yeah he is one of those guys that says things without thinking at times and it gets him in trouble, but I am sure he said a lot of these same things in Detroit that they didn't take any way, so sure he slips up here. Anyways I don't need to defend him, but the hate is getting really really old quickly

That doesn't equate to Williams running the correct route.
It's on both Williams and Romo, but we aren't going to change QBs.

They look way to happy reporting this. Werder is pure evil.

Why wouldn't they be happy to report this? This is going to net them ratings and page looks for their websites.

Rob Phillips did the same thing Tim MacMahon and Calvin Watkins did yesterday.

http://www.truebluefanclub.com/blog...&plckScript=blogScript&plckElementId=blogDest

They wrote a direct qoute from Roy Williams.

So if it was no big deal to Rob Phillips then why the hell did he feel a need to write a blog post about it?

Next Ed Werder will be trying to divide Romo from Hurd and Ogletree.

I am only picking this thread because it was the one at the top of the page at the time I decided to count this.

10 threads about Roy Williams on Page 1 of the Fan Zone.
