I am only picking this thread because it was the one at the top of the page at the time I decided to count this.

10 threads about Roy Williams on Page 1 of the Fan Zone.

yeah the hate on 1 player who said a couple of things that got blown out of proportion is pretty sad.. Sure the guy hasn't lived up to the contract and trade yet, but he has hopefully 3 more months to make a lot of people on this board eat crow.. I am sticking with him, I watched tons of games in Detroit and I know the skills he possesses, and as soon as Romo figures it out in live game action... LOOK OUT

What's next, Romo and Williams from the crapper?
It would surprise me that the thought has not ever crossed Werder's mind.

Both men handled the situation perfectly. They shouldn't need to answer anything further regarding this "dissension".

:signmast: Agreed.

Being open in the wrong spot doesn't help.

and absolutely none of us know if he is in the wrong spot or not.

And its not like Romo hasn't missed him even when they were on the same page.

I hear Romo is swearing off women.

He says he's the two drama divas give him all the feminine fuss he can handle.

As for the "mystery balls..."

I put them in the following categories....
1. QB and the receiver might have conditional reads based on the defense and the two don't make the same read of where to take the play.
2. One of the two forgets the play
3. Roy gets completely diverted on his route.
4. Tony is throwing the ball away
5. Romo just misses

Of course not.

But when he has a 65% completion rate with everyone else and a 40% completion rate with Roy, its starts to become a bit more obvious where the problem is.

Unless you believe in the massive cosmic coincidence that Romo only throws his bad passes to Roy.

Reporting on "tension" in the Cowboy's locker room is the only way Werder can stay relevant.

Greatest quote ever about Ed Werder:

"You're a hack!"

Only time I ever tune in BSPN is when there is a game on that I want to watch.

Yeah, Roy is my favorite player on the Cowboys due to watching him since he was a Sophomore in High School & a hometown guy.. then playing for my horns, he didn't have to keep talking, nor did the media have to blow up something more than what it was.. 2 SIDES my friend, and I know Roy has no intent whatsoever to start any kind of controversy, maybe some of the things that come out of his mouth should be just kept to himself but he is still learning the way the Cowboys media-national media work & they are still learning him, how to take things and the way he says different things in the tone of his voice- either making a sarcastic remark.. Yeah he is one of those guys that says things without thinking at times and it gets him in trouble, but I am sure he said a lot of these same things in Detroit that they didn't take any way, so sure he slips up here. Anyways I don't need to defend him, but the hate is getting really really old quickly

No what is getting old is that ANY of these players talking about this crap to the media. Where are the Hennings and Woody's that would of stopped this crap DEAD in the tracks so that this stuff stays in house?

You would think this team would of learned a little something after last year.

Guess not.

Tony Romo and Roy Williams from the locker room...

I do like part of Romo's comments, but the media should not be powerful enough to divide a locker room no matter what they print whether it's valid or not. He sort of admits here that the problems last year were caused because of what the media does and that's a little annoying.

Roy isn't a Terrell Owens. That's not a fair criticism. But it's also something you have to look into on all fronts.

He's not as good a Terrell Owens was either. And he hasn't put up any big numbers while wearing the star yet so I don't understand why he's painting himself as a #1 WR when he speaks. Just go let the play speak for itself. Go put up a big game and then let the fans annoint you the #1 WR.

And the#1 problem with his comments yesterday? That Romo has to answer these questions today regarding them.

and the agenda grows.

Where's the ESPN story on how the Dallas O is ranked #2 and has gained a crap load of yards and scored points WITH this apparent MAJOR problem of Romo not being able to connect with Roy? Man, anything for the "sexy" story of potential disaster.

And everytime someone talks about this upcoming game its the same thing "where the dallas cowboys will take on the philadelphia eagles sunday night and tony romo hasn't thrown a interception in 3 games." Yeah we know, you're talking like when he does throw the next one that a huge "WE AT ESPN TOLD YOU HE WOULD THROW ONE" announcement would come out in breaking news fashion.

And Werder "Ed did they say why they might not be connecting?" the answer is No, they didn't say anything...but Ed fluffs it with the "roy is lazy, has a history of this and that." Yeah so what. It was a yes or no answer.

Every reporter should be hooked to a polygraph machine while they give their reports and broadcasts. We all can spot fluff and BS but who the hell is holding these people accountable? Scumbags, all of them.

Am I fired up or what?:bang2:

I agree. Funny on the int commets of Romo when you look at this season thus far out of 6 games played Romo has thrown picks in only 2 games including 3 in the Giants game and has a total of 4 ints on the season

in contrast Brees has had at least 1 pick in 4 out of 7 games including 3 picks in 1 game for a total of 6 but Romo is the one called out.

To be fair Romo has missed some passes to Roy. However he as also thrown some very catchable passes that Roy has dropped. I'm just wondering if Roy could start catching the good passes that maybe that would boost Romo's confididence in him and maybe the errant passes would decrease.
