I don't think I've ever heard Tony this determined/annoyed ever, and I watch as many Cowboys interviews as I can.

I love it. Sounds like he's fed up with the bull he's had to hear all week and can't wait to shut up his critics Monday night.

Look out, Carolina. :starspin

How Romo having a good game against the Panthers shut up his critics? Carolina is a bad team and until he has a good game against the Giants or Eagles in December and wins playoff game, then the critics will bbe a little quiet. Romo should not get any praise for beating Carolina in Week 3.

If he plays well, sure he should.

And we need him to play well to win. We dont have a good enough defense to overcome him playing poorly, as proven last weekend.

You don't praise a QB coming off a 3 INT game against a divisiona rival at home because he played well against a bad team. You accept his good game and move on to the next week.

Its too early in the season to know for sure who the really good teams are and who the really bad teams are. Carolina played much better last week on the road at Atlanta.

Its ridiculous to say guys dont deserve praise for having good games.

He had an awful game vs NYG and is the main reason we lost the game. Monday night he could be the main reason we win. It isnt fair to blame him for the losses when he plays bad but give him no praise for wins if he plays well.

Romo's critics have drawn a line in the sand, and nothing else matters. Romo can win the Super Bowl and it will be despite him.

All his critics begging for a playoff win will be the ones moaning and groaning because we did not win our next playoff game.

I have no expectations that Romo will win anyone over at this point. Minds are made up and no matter what happens the excuses are already pre-fabricated and ready to roll.

Lets not forget if you don't win in September and October, December does not matter.

Talk is cheap, we've heard all this before. I have no doubts that Romo will get it done on Monday where i have my doubt is if he can get it done when we have our next big NFCE game

My point exactly, but I'm dropping it. Lab is definitely touchy on this one, and as I've already said, I like Lab's posts and find myself agreeing with him most of the time. Enough said by me, and I'm gonna just be quiet about it. You don't keep calling someone names (Red Jesus), and notice their smirks, quirks, and all if you don't have a pretty healthy dose of attitude toward them.

CL can take care of himself but I call Garrett Red Jesus or usually RJ a lot. And I think he's an up and coming coach who will get a shot at the brass ring soon. I do think Garrett gets too smart at times but his play calling and the execution of the run game was brilliant last week. Tony just didn't execute. He's a smart guy and seems to 'have it'. I don't have an attitude about any but Carpenter and I'm getting one about Hamlin.

What?

What do you really mean?

Are you suggesting that the Romo critics are non believers and have no hope? Are you suggesting that even if romo has a good game in the playoffs and wins the so called critics will say it was despite Him?.

Because if you are then I will have to disagree. Romo is what he shows on the field. Nobody is going to make up their mind on anything untill the season is over and we see what he did. A bad gameis a bad game, nothing more nothing less.

I think that this is what we are all waiting for.....No disrespect to anybody here but Carolina is not a very good team.

Dude... I hope you realize that there are MANY teams in this league who would LOVE to have a QB who regularly plays well against "bad teams".

Quincy Carter would throw 3 INTs against a "bad team" and Dallas fans collectively would not bat an eyelash.

If Romo goes out and plays great then he should get praise for playing as such. This is the NFL producing still requires going out and executing if if he does that then he deserve credit for doing that.

Yes, that is exactly what I am saying.

Need more proof, look at some of the threads about Troy Aikman from the past. It was the OL, Emmitt, Irvin and Troy was just lucky enough to be along for the ride.

So yeah, many not all of the Tony haters will use those type of agendas if Tony were to ever experience any success in the playoffs.

Oh my God, it almost sounds like he does care about winning.........but that can't be true. How am I going to hate him now if he cares about improving and winning??

Oh, and check out the comments on the cowboys site for this video. Holy crap, some really, REALLY, stupid fans. They want Quincy over Romo.

To be honest while i appreciate all the "good" answers that we have gotten from our players this last week, in reality i wish it was monday night already so the time for talk is over and we cant prove it on the field!!!! Actions speak louder than words and well we will see how this team responds. Playing a pathetic Panthers team i expect nothing less than a blowout... probably won't happen though. At the very least i wanna see the defense show finally show improvement in the pass rush department with at least 3 sacks!!! As for Romo he always plays well against crap teams so expect a good game from him

Big deal. Tony is annoyed and determined. What does that mean? It took a season ending beating and new stadium opening beating and now he is going to do the right thing.

I dont think so.

Anyway, he should be annoyed... I would be too if I stunk it up and gave the game away and someone constantly asked me questions about and I had to say things that I didnt believe.

"As I continue to throw games away and throw interceptions that are just like punts, I have realize its a learning experience", "you know QB's are not perfect, you show me one that plays perfect every week" blah blah blah

Tony, just say I made some real bonehead decisions, I muffed up and I know. Nooooo... Tony goes on with his spiel......

:laugh2: Do you remember Sunday night (after the game) when Tony said "I'll be better tomorrow"? What does that mean?

Romo, your words are becoming hollow.
